This stand is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! I can’t say enough positive about it. I do not have a business, I wanted it for my home use. To sit my iPad on as I am on it a lot and either had it in my lap or sitting on a desk by my recliner. Either way was uncomfortable over long periods. With this I have it mounted on this stand and with the flat base I can sit in my recliner and it easily slides right up to me as the base goes right under any chair you happen to be in. I do not have it permanently mounted and have no intentions to. It is plenty heavy that I don’t have to worry about it being knocked over when anyone of my 4 chihuahuas decide to do their “zooomies”. I just slide it to whatever couch or chair I feel like sitting in that day. The ONLY complaint I have is that while it is adjustable, when it comes to you there are only 2 positions that it can be put in. Either all the way down(which is perfect for chairs, couches, and recliners) or all the way up for if you are standing. It would be very easy though to just drill a couple more holes to put the set screw in if neither of those positions were your choice. I had absolutely no problem putting it together nor seating my iPad. The instructions were extremely clear, all came together without any problems. It comes with a special tool to attach the iPad which makes it impossible for anyone without the tool to remove it. Just to make sure that I didn’t loose that I have attached it to a string and slid it down the inside of the leg of the stand. All in all I would give this 10 stars if I could and that being said I am strictly using it for my personal use at home. And it has become my “best friend”! For a business or an office waiting room I can’t imagine that anything better could be found! I ordered this tablet stand to setup my tablet in the gym to record youth basketball games that I coach. I had been using a tripod stand but it kept getting hit with the basketball and the tablet was taking some hard hits to the gym floor. I ordered this stand to be able to stayup when the ball hits it. I will say that it was a little hassle to lug around to the gym, but not to bad. The stand was simple enough to assemble and get setup, and it for sure was sturdy enough to take the hits from the basketball and didn't budge. The problem I had was the tablet holder took away being able to use the back camera. Only way I could use it was to have the tablet hanging halfway out and the put me in the same boat as using the tripod. It was not worth the hassle to lug this beast around and still have the same issue. I will say if you have a need to secure a tablet in a set spot, this stand will do the trick. Read more
