• ACID-NEUTRALIZING: contains naturally occurring, crushed and screened white marble, calcium carbonate media. It is used to neutralize acidic or low pH waters to a neutral, less corrosive effluent.The media slowly dissolves over time and will need to be refilled about every 2-3 years, depending on the amount of water you use, and the pH of your raw water entering the unit.
• This system is designed solely for neutralizing acidic water. If you would like clear, filtered water & a balanced pH in addition to your acid-neutralizing system, configure your system with a SMART filter.
• WATER SOFTENER: Water is softened by replacing hard ions like magnesium and calcium with softer sodium or potassium ions. This means that the magnesium and calcium ions are actually removed from the water. Prevent further limescale build up in your appliances and pipes. • PRE & POST FILTRATION: In pre, Water flows through a 20” sediment cartridge that removes sediment, silt, sand, and dirt. In post, water flows through a 20" solid carbon cartridge for removing volatile organic carbon compounds.
• LEAK DETECTOR: Includes a Leak Detector Valve used to detect a water leak within a water filter system and shuts down the water supply to prevent flooding.
