• SMART Filters use our special house blend known as SMART Multimedia. This includes two types of coconut shell Granulated Activated Carbons (Standard & Catalytic GAC) infused with our Eagle Redox Alloys 6500 & 9500. It also contains an ion exchange resin to reduce contaminants such as heavy metals (i.e. lead and mercury), chlorine, chloramine, inorganic products, and petroleum/pharmaceutical by-products, as well as hundreds of additional contaminents. It also achieves a balanced pH.
• EAGLE REDOX ALLOY: an ion exchange resin infused with the GAC to reduce contaminants such as heavy metals, i.e. lead & mercury while extending the life of GAC drastically. Ceramic and Tourmaline balls are included to oxygenate and enhance the water alkalinity and achieve a balanced pH. The recommended drinking-water pH is 6.5-8.5
• PRE & POST FILTRATION: In pre, Water flows through a 20” sediment cartridge that removes sediment, silt, sand, and dirt. In post, water flows through a 20" solid carbon cartridge for removing volatile organic carbon compounds.
• SALT-FREE CONDITIONER: Crystal Quest Saltless Water Softener is a new technology that transforms the calcium (hardness) of the water into mechanically stable and heat resistant calcite crystals (nanometer size) which no longer cause lime deposits. The calcium is simply rinsed away. It also removes the already existing scale from pipes and heat exchanger surfaces. • LEAK DETECTOR: Includes a Leak Detector Valve used to detect a water leak within a water filter system and shuts down the water supply to prevent flooding.
