The media dissolves gradually over time and should be refilled every 2-3 years, depending on your water usage and the pH of the raw water entering the unit.
• 𝐒𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐅𝐈𝐋𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐀: Our unique blend of two types of coconut shell Granulated Activated Carbons (Standard & Catalytic GAC), infused with Eagle Redox Alloys 6500 & 9500 and ion exchange resin, effectively reduces hundreds of contaminants from your water, including heavy metals like lead and mercury, chlorine, chloramine, petroleum and pharmaceutical by-products, and more. It also includes Ceramic and Tourmaline balls to enhance the water and help maintain a more alkaline pH.
