I bought these hooks to string lights on my patio. They work perfectly. They were easy to install and the hook was the perfect size. They have a closure on them so the lights will not be affected by the wind. The color was black and the blend in with my dark brown patio cover. These are great! I used them to hang some garden lights under a covered porch. We get a lot of wind so the lights would blow off of regular hooks. Love that these have the clasp to keep them from falling off. They were super easy to install. I started the hole with a drill and then just installed them by hand. I really like these hooks. The locking loop works very well and is sturdy and solid. It doesn't slip around like others do. It stays latched easily. The point of the hook is sharp and screws in, even by hand, into the ceiling drywall. I did drill a pilot hole when I hit a 2 x 4. These hooks are the perfect size for light to medium weight applications. They are well painted and look great.
