This is my first time using a weighted vest and I am obsessed!!! I love it! I wasn't sure how big of a difference it would make, but I could feel it right away. I wore it on a basic walk around the park with the dog and pushing the stroller and not only did it add some weight, but it made me so much more aware of my posture. I had to intentionally make sure I was standing up straight or I would feel it in my neck / shoulders. But when I was upright, I had to use my core and I even felt it a bit in my hips and glutes!! This is perfect for adding some extra resistance when doing basic workouts like walking or light jogging. So far I've only used it with all the weight added, and I've experienced very little soreness. The vest is surprisingly comfortable and very easy to wear. I do wish all the weight was removable so the vest could be washed, but there is some weight sewn in to the shoulders and I'm not sure how well it would go through the wash. For now, I've just been making sure to lay it inside out to fully dry after using it. Other than that, I haven't found any issues with the vest. The reflective strips on it are SUPER reflective, so if you're walking/running/hiking at night or in the evening, it will help you be seen by passing motorists. The weight adjustment is simple and straightforward. It has 6 sand bags that each weigh 1 pound, and the vest itself is weighted with sand so the minimum is 4 pounds. The weight distribution is pretty balanced, and I love that I can easily adjust the load with the removable iron sand bags. The fit is snug but comfortable. The straps make it easy to adjust for both men and women. My husband has started using it as well and it works for both of us.
