The media could not be loaded. The device is fine for small areas to perform on yourself. There are consistencies in the product instructions and operation. The main concerns for me personally is the flash countdown. 400,000 is still a lot of flashes for personal treatments at home but just is an obvious inconsistency. The other was where it says to use the product page 3 versus 15. Read through the manual 2-3 times to make sure you understand how to operate. I personally get professional laser treatments to my Brazilian and underarm areas so i knew what to expect as far as the feeling. Yes, it is different doing it to yourself but it’s very bearable. Due to my complexion, I did not do test shots beyond 3 but my skin seemed to do fine with those so I may be good at level 4 and 5 if ever needed. I honestly do not grow much hair on my legs and arms and therefore rarely to never shave them. I did shave my arm to do the test shots but again there was barely any hair. Using the device is straight forward and will get easier as you keep performing on yourself. The cooling effect is great. The sunglasses are good - they fit like normal and are very tinted to protect from the light flashes. It actually was hard to see where the buttons were during my test shots since i wasn’t used to the device yet. The sensation was fine and my skin reacted fairly well. It did feel like the tingling lingered a bit on the treated areas but no swelling or redness. At $120 it’s fine, but needs to work out the inconsistencies and then it would have been nice to see this with a storage case or pouch because the box is too much and isn’t fitting back inside the outer label slip so I’m left with a plain white box that I’ll have to label myself. There are some conflicting instructions with this IPL device. For one, the listing and manual state that it has a 999,999 flash lifetime, but the countdown on the device began at around 400,000. Strange. You'd think it would countdown from 999,999. Not sure what will happen when it reaches that point. And then the instructions in the manual say to use it no more often than once every two weeks--even at the beginning stages of treatment. The product listing and picture state a much different timeline with 2-3 treatments a week for the first 4 weeks. Very different. Nevertheless, I think I've noticed a reduction in how fast the hairs are growing pack even after only two treatments. I'll update this review if the device doesn't pan out, but the results seem promising at this point. At levels 1 and 2, you can barely feel anything. Obviously this will depend on your pain tolerance and the area of treatment, but the lower levels seem pretty painless. I've tried a few flashes on the highest level and it feels like very briefly touching a hot lightbulb. Not painless, but doable if it decreases how frequently you have to use the device. The cooling feature works surprisingly well. The metal surrounding the IPL light area gets pretty cold and takes some of the sting away from the flashing light if you keep the device moving. I love that there's a feature where you don't have to continuously press the button. There's an automatic mode that will flash every second or so as long as device is flat against your skin. For doing larger areas like your legs or hard to reach spots, it's nice to not have to fiddle with pressing the button. Even though the pictures make it seem otherwise, this is a corded device and must be plugged into the wall in order to use it. The cord is long enough so I don't think this will be an issue, but I was scratching my head for a bit when I first tried to turn it on without having it plugged in. The pictures should at least show a cord while it's being operated so people know that there's no battery. Overall, this is an easy to use, ergonomic IPL device. It's still too early to determine its long term effectiveness, but the early results I'm seeing are promising. Read more

This IPL device has a unique design to it that sets it apart from many of the other generic looking ones. I like the overall design and the display is helpful and pretty straightforward. As with all of these IPL it takes a while for results and only works on certain skin and hair types. Beyond that it does seem to operate as advertised and has the cooling function that makes it more comfortable. Read more

It is easy to use and it is powerful, I'd recommend to start with lower settings and then increase, cause it feels at first like it can burn you skin. the hardest part is to follow the schedule so you could see the results, but I think it's working, I see some change in body hair. Read more
