Sturdy, works well with my magcase. Fit is a little tight on Kia Soul, but still functional. Read more
Won’t work on the 2025 Hyundai Sonata’s since the vent louvers are too deep (~1”?), so 1 star off for that. It does however work on our Mazda SUV (2021) so we’ll be keeping it. Very secure mount with strong magnets. Much prefer it to mounts that use a spring vise to hold the vent louver. Read more
I drive a Honda CR-V and this mount surprised me in a good way. The fit on the vent is solid and it locks in without slipping around. The magnet strength is strong enough that my phone stays steady when I take sharp turns or hit rough patches. For the price, the value for money feels high since the whole thing has a sturdier feel than most vent mounts I have tried. It is easy to use, easy to adjust, and it works well for everyday driving. No issues so far. Read more
I love this magnetic phone holder. Because it clips to the airvents, instead of sticking to the dashboard or window, it is very easy to move between vehicles, such as when I need to use my husband’s car instead of my own. If you travel a lot and frequently rent a car, this would be a great phone holder to keep in your carry-on bag so you can be assured that you will be able to see your phone, especially your map app, no matter what type of car your rental turns out to be. I find it to be very secure, once the base is twisted all the way towards the locked position, though the position of the air vent does make a difference - in our vehicles at least, the mount is most secure when attached to a vent that is opened so the air blows straight out, rather than tilted up or down. My previous vent-clip phone mount didn’t have the little hook to lock it onto the vent blade like this one does, and I was always fiddling with it to try and keep it from falling off. This one stays locked in place without any issues. You do need to make sure the vent blades are long enough for this to clip onto them. I initially tried to attach it to the small round vent on the top of my dashboard, not realizing that the “blades” of that vent had no depth and therefore not enough length to clip onto. The magnet is nice and strong, and my phone (iPhone 13 Mini) has stayed securely attached, without so much as a wiggle, even on bumpy roads and through sudden and hard braking. I have to kind of tilt my phone from the magnetic ring in order to remove it - the magnet is too strong to pull the phone straight off. If your case is not MagSafe compatible, the mount does come with a magnetic ring that can be adhered to your case. Adjusting the view of your phone is easy - the arm tilts and pivots smoothly, but is tight enough that it stays in the position you set. Read more

My parents are at an age where driving is a little more difficult. But they love to travel and I want them to for as long as possible. Whenever they go on a trip, I go with them to help and especially to be the chauffeur. When we rent a car, there are times when I cannot connect my cell phone to the car's system, for whatever reason. I have to prop up my phone to use the GPS to find where we are going. It's not ideal and the phone ends up shifting and, sometimes, falling to the floor. I have a magsafe phone case and use magsafe accessories at home that makes life easier. I wanted to get this car mount when we travel. It comes with a magnetic ring and measuring tool to install on phones that are not magsafe compatible. I appreciate the minimalist design because it saves space in my luggage and is easy to install and remove. The rotation feature makes it easy to view from different angles. A drawback is that it will block part of the vent's air flow but it's worth it to have a good view of the screen. Just a small precaution, once the metal bar is in a stable position...stop! Vents are plastic. If you over rotate the tightener, it will most likely break the vent. I used it on my car to test it and realized I was going a little overboard. I loosened it and tested the seated position constantly. Once it felt good enough, I placed my phone on it and it was good to go. I drove around doing errands and I had no problems. Read more

Works well. The magnet feels strong and has held my phone even on bumpy roads, with a case on the phone. It also holds onto the air vent better than expected. I'm going on a trip soon and I plan to bring this with me. Definitely recommend Read more
Strong magnet, maybe too strong. It is tough to get off my phone case. No chance this will drop your phone! It is a sturdy as you vent and fit all the vents i tried it on. Read more
