Love my Alen Air Purifiers. This work well with the larger model. I own three. They are expensive, but I love that you can change the colors of the front panel if you like (of course you have to order them). It is very easy to operate, they're relatively quiet and gets the job done with cleaning the air. It reduces odors in the home, especially if you get the correct filters. If they less expensive, I would have one in every room - so don't pass on a sale! Read more

After using the 45i model, I picked this one up for another room and honestly—it might be the better buy. The air-cleaning performance is just as good, maybe even a bit stronger at similar fan speeds. It still uses Alen’s excellent HEPA filtration system and clears out dust, odors, and allergens noticeably fast. What you don’t get are the “smart” extras—no app, no lights you can toggle off—but that’s fine by me. The Flex keeps things simple: it turns on, runs efficiently, and purifies the air quietly without trying to be a smart device. And the big plus? It’s nearly twice as efficient in terms of energy use compared to the 45i, at least in my setup. Noise levels are low, even on medium or high, and the build quality is just as solid. If you don't care about app connectivity or lighting controls, this model gives you the same (or better) air quality for less money and lower energy draw. Highly recommend it—especially for bedrooms, offices, or anyone trying to simplify without sacrificing performance. Read more

I’ve had many air purifiers in the past that were ok or it didn’t do much. I was hesitant to buy this at first but I was not willing to pay thousands for an expensive one. I took a chance and purchased this do to the reviews. I’m glad I did! My kids and husband all suffer from really bad allergies indoors and outdoors and all have severe asma, so any bad air quality can really make it so bad that they all end up in the hospital all because of air quality in the home. I suffer from chronic severe sinusitis and I learned that if the air quality is not clear it just makes it worse. Air quality is very important, and this air purifier made all the difference in our home. They’re haven’t been any emergency room visits since using this and that says a lot in my life! I can breathe easier, the air quality is so good I mean every time someone comes over they say what a huge difference the smell of fresh air it is. Before it would always feel like the air was stuffy and congested, it felt like it was hard to breathe. I use this in the living room, my master bed room, and kids room, easy to move around not heavy at all. The noise isn’t bad at low setting you here nothing, high isn’t bothersome you do here it but it won’t disturb your sleep or anything. I can turn the light off at night so it doesn’t disturb anyone. Is of if you’d buy the really expensive one, for the money and value this is worth it. It has a timer and will turn off when you need it. I have no complaints. It takes out odor which is amazing, if I’m cooking I don’t need to worry about the smell of cooking or put candles out or sprays no more of that this takes care of it and it takes it out of the air. I already recommended this to my family and friends, and I plan on getting a second one in the future. Read more

The BreatheSmart has made my home California high in the Sierra Nevada Mountains livable during our worst-ever wildfire season. I am often disappointed in new technologies, but I had to write to say this machine is just great. I'd buy a second one if it were available. I guess there's been a run on them during fire season and hope that they'll come back in stock soon. SIZE & APPEARANCE: I keep the BreatheSmart next to my bed but often carry it to whatever room I am working in. The machine has a very convenient handle and is light. It also looks good. While it is a little thick, the design is sleek (like an Apple product) and somewhat camouflages the bulk of the machine. NOISE: This purifier makes less noise than I expected, and the quality of the noise doesn't bother me at all. It's like white noise machine. It has no harsh or high pitched mechanical sounds, just the low, consistent hum of a fan. On lower settings, I hardly hear it at all. EFFICACY: Most importantly, the BreatheSmart cleans the smoke from the air better than I expected. I have asthma, and it's been a challenge breathing through the current wildfire season. This machine may well have saved me from the emergency room this year. I try to keep the windows closed, but in the heat of the summer, I sometimes have to make trade offs and do open the windows for brief periods. Even when I air out the house and get a good bit of smoke inside, the BreatheSmart clears the air in no time after I close the windows and set the machine on turbo speed. It takes a lot of confidence in a purifier to try this, but it's worked well for me, which is a real testament to the quality of the machine's filter. BOTTOM LINE: I highly recommend the BreatheSmart for anyone with asthma or other lung ailments. It's a great tool for getting us through these difficult times. Read more
