It manages to keep my style locked in throughout the day—even in moderate humidity—without leaving my hair feeling stiff, sticky, or crunchy. The finish is natural and virtually invisible, which is a major plus. It washes out easily and doesn't leave any residue behind. The one major thing prospective buyers should be aware of is the application method. The nozzle produces a very localized stream, meaning it doesn't create a broad, diffused mist like some other sprays. Furthermore, the spray itself comes out quite heavy. If you hold the can too close or linger in one spot, you will quickly saturate a small area of hair. The key to using this successfully is to hold the can a good 10-12 inches away from your head and keep your hand moving constantly and quickly. Once you master this technique, the concentrated delivery actually proves very effective for targeting specific sections and ensures minimal product is wasted. If you are looking for a lightweight holding spray that doesn't matt down your hair or make it look heavy this is it. Spray it on your hairbrush when your hair is wet or spray it directly on your hair to brush out, it works fine either way. And yes you can brush/comb out your hair and lightly apply as a finish.
