American West Lady Lace Multi Compartment Shoulder Bag

This is my second AW purse and i love it just like my first one. Sure, a zipper would have been better than the snap closer, but I knew that before ordering. Great workman ship and good quality leather! Fortunately the leather is not as stiff as I thought it would be, so it feels awesome and the purse stays standing up on its own, just the way I like it. There is just one problem with it. When I opened the box I noticed right away that it only had one silver tassel, I searched the whole box for the second one, but never found it! Beautiful bag but I'm giving it 3 stars due to its size -- it's TOO large and would be much nicer for carrying if it was about 1/3 size smaller. I should have compared the measurements against my current purse to know this, but I'm keeping it as the quality and styling is very nice, just bigger than I would typically want for my daily purse. If you're wanting more of a 'tote' bag then you'll be very happy with this size. Also would prefer that the middle section of the purse had a zipper to keep all contents secure as things can easily fall out when it tips over in the car, etc... It does have other secure areas which I like, just not the large center area - just has a small magnetic snap strap in the middle which doesn't serve much purpose. Read more

I love the look of the purse but they needed more pictures. I love the side pockets to hold key and cell phone for easy access. I really like the 2 deep pockets in the main part of the purse one has a zipper that goes across the whole purse but the other one is a piece of leather that snaps to hold it I would of preferred another zipper. there are 2 little pockets to hold chap stick or little items like them and a small zipper pocket on inside of one large pocket (its a little to small would of like it to be deeper. Love the zipper pocket on the back out side over all I would give this purse a 4 1/2 this is my third purse and I truly enjoy the look and how long they last :) Read more

I really, really like this purse! It's super cute. I've had another American West purse that I used for many years that is still in great condition.. I'm only giving this 3 stars because after just a few months the stitching is coming undone on the handle. I'm going to have to find someone who works with leather to repair it. I don't think I am exceptionally hard on my purses and so, spending this much on one, it shouldn't start coming apart after just a few months. But, I do get many compliments on it. Read more

I have several American West handbags and they are beautiful. My favorite: Lady Lace pattern is about worn out so I went looking on-line for a replacement. I was so happy to find it for sale on Amazon at a very good price. I order it. But when the box arrived and was opened, ebags sent another pattern not at all what I had ordered. I went through Amazon to get permission to return the item. I also called ebags to find if they had the item available. They accepted the return, but would not send the Lady Lace bag as a replacement. The customer service man said I could order it, but they wanted more than $50.00 more than it was advertised by Amazon. I have returned the wrong bag and will search elsewhere for my Lady Lace handbag. Read more
