This is a very well made WOK. It cooks food evenly and nicely, the wooden handle allows safety and does not conduct heat, and I love that it has a lid as an option. The bottom of the pan is really round though and is hard to sit on the stove. (really making the lid useless in my opinion). It's also very heavy (which says good things about quality, however makes it hard to "shake" the food inside since I have small wrists. It's a good Wok, I just dont think this type of cooking may be feasable for me unfortunately. Read more

We love this wok. Fried rice is officially better at home now. It heats evenly, nothing sticks, and it’s way easier to clean than I expected. Works great on our stove, and the handle’s comfortable even when things get hot and fast. Solid addition to the kitchen and definitely getting a workout in this house. Read more
High quality pan with an amazing feel on the handle. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE a stove top with the metal burners. This will not work on a flat glass top due to shape of the WOK pan. Cooks amazingly with a non stick surface. We use enough healthier optioned oils to help as well. Perfect if you love cooking and would be a perfect gift! Read more
Well, the first time that I used it, I sautéed sliced potatoes on the lowest temperature, and they burned and stuck. It was practically IMPOSSIBLE to get them out, and I soaked it in water for 2 days, and I finally used my finger nails to scrape off of burnt residue, because you can't scrub these things with steel wool, etc. Update: Amazon sent a replacement and I experienced the EXACT same thing as before. I sprayed oil and cracked one egg. It stuck and burned just like the first one. Read more
Although the rim of the top was slightly damaged upon receipt, the degree of damage will have no effect on the performance of the pan. However, check yours over carefully in case it has received rougher shipping than mine did. The packaging appears to be adequate and there was no apparent damage to the packaging, so this ding may even have happened at the factory before shipping. As shown in the ad, the depth is 4 1/2 inches. The top adds ad bit more than another inch. Note, though, that the bottom of the pan is quite rounded, and the top slightly rounded, so that maximum depth is only at the very center of each. This may or may not be adequate for steaming of large artichokes (one of my favorite uses), but the rounded shape is actually pretty much exactly what I see in the woks used by Chinese restaurants. That makes it optimized for stir frying, but perhaps not what you want with some other cooking methods. For boiling vegetables, or for steaming a relatively small amount of veggies such as snow peas, carrots, etc., this should work quite well. The ad says that this is made of stainless steel, and the weight pretty much rules out aluminum (good!) so it probably is stainless steel, as claimed. However, with the non-stick surface covering the bare metal, I can't confirm that. The pan does distribute heat well, so there's nothing lacking in terms of performance. I especially like the wooden handle and top grip. The wooden handle is fastened to a metal shank with a screw, and the entire assembly is attached to the wok with two robust rivets. They probably won't ever loosen, but if they do loosen, you will not be able to tighten them back up. Overall, this is a good-quality non-stick wok, and I recommend it for your consideration. This wok is more of an intermediate size which is perfect for smaller households. I had another wok that was larger and it was too unwieldly in a household kitchen. This one is the perfect size. A little smaller and of course a little lighter and easier to do the wok flip. It has a non-stick coating and I am not sure what type it is. I hope it will be able to endure the high heat a wok requires, especially with open flames. Construction is very good with a medium thickness metal that allows heat to transfer easily. The wood handle has rounded edges and feels good in your hand. However, the hole cutouts can dig into your palm when cooking. The handle is riveted to the pan with big thick rivets. The cover is a nice feature as most woks do not come with them. In the past, I had to use covers from other pans that did not fit well. This cover worls very well! Read more
