I have ordered these multiple times as I am an electrical contractor and choose to install these for my customers. The lights are super easy to install, look great, and are very bright. Although, one of these have failed so I reached out the the seller, AntLux. They asked me to see where I believe the problem was and I found a shorted out circuit board. They agreed to send me out a replacement with a guaranteed delivery date, although never actually sent it. So, I asked again, and they said that there might be trouble with the shipping and once again agreed to send it out. After about 3 weeks, I finally received the replacement. Read more
These are great lights so far. They have good light spread, are super bright, and are easy to install. I could perform surgery in my basement it is so well lit now. The only downside, which is true of all led lights, is that when i first put them in there was an extremely mild strobing effect. My eyes are really sensitive, so i pretty much notice it with every led bulb i have ever seen. After being down there a few minutes, i got used to it but for the first few minutes seeing moving things felt a little off. After having them up for a few weeks now, im getting more used to it though. Dont really notice it much anymore. Read more
I did not see any of the third party safety lab approvals [UL/CSA/ETL etc] for these fixtures .... as one would normally expect with any product connected to 120VAC. Was not as bright as I expected for 5500lm however the color temperature seemed correct. Also noted they throw out notable EMI as they de-sensed a nearby FM broadcast receiver. Read more
I'm reviewing the AntLux 4FT LED Wraparound Light Fixture 50W Ultra Slim LED Shop Lights for Garage, No Glare, 5500 Lumens, 4000K Neutral White, 4 Foot Flush Mount Office Ceiling Wrap Light for Workshop Kitchen. I've used their similar products in two garages now. The lights are decent quality for an attractive price point and the lights are great. I'm not sure how long they will last. However, one concern you need to be aware of is that they continue to change the design on the fixtures. So in my case, I installed about 16 of them in a garage, and after a couple years the power driver / LEDs failed in one. That fixture had been redesigned, so I had to basically buy a newer model and use that driver on the old fixture. The same thing happened in a second garage. I bought 16 and ended up needing 18 lights. So when I went to order 2 more, the fixture design (cover style, placement of screws) changed again. So I'm stuck and had to order a whole new set. So just be aware of this. Otherwise, I would use them again. Read more
