Filters my tap water!
I have been using my AquaTru tabletop system for years. While the water in my city may be deemed as the "cleanest" due to "bugs / bacteria" there is some nasty stuff in it. Like it often smells like a swimming pool when it comes out the faucet. Uggh. I don't want to drink those chemicals or who knows what else is in there. My health is way too important to me. So I buy these filters. I must admit I was a tad leary of buying a filter from Amazon instead of directly from AquaTru. But the filter I had received seems to work as well as the ones I get from them. I just needed it fast as I had a filter give me that light that it needed replacing. These are very easy to use. You just twist them into place. And they come in a box. And inside the box is a vacuum sealed bag. The bag should make a hissing sound when you open it. Then you find the correct old filter inside the machine. Its very easy. They are color coordinated and have numbers on them too. Nothing can be easier! Twist the old one out and the new one in! It cleans the water great! And its fast too. As the filter gets older it may slow down a bit but the speed comes back with new filters. The water tastes great but I often add the electrolytes back to it. A bit of sea salt. I use this water for everything: cooking, drinking, tea and even in my humidifier. Believe me, you do NOT want to use unfiltered tap water in a humidifier! I have had this AquaTru system for almost seven years now. It has great longevity. You just need to replace a few filters. If you plan for it, its not bad at all and it pays you back in long lasting good health. Don't forget your health and your immune system is in the microbiome. And that stuff in the tap water is there to kill bacteria! Well what do you think it does to the microbiome? If you think about that, these are well worth the price. Read more
