Sizing and looks are as expected from the pics. Bought this for my girlfriend as she once purchased a cardigan in Ireland that was this brand and she absolutely loves it. I ordered two sweaters. One of them is size S, which came directly from Amazon and didn't have a certificate of authenticity. The quality of the yarn was so-so. Not high-quality merino wool. It reminds me of loose sheep wool, not smooth and long-fibered merino. If you are looking for a traditional Irish sweater design but soft to the touch, then pay slightly more (or find one on eBay) for a hand-knitted one. The difference in the quality of yarn and craftsmanship is day and night. Update: * Another sweater, size M came from Ireland with a certificate - it has beautiful, very soft, and long yarn. So, to be aware: these sweaters might be made by different vendors. Yes, the pattern is the same, but the quality is very different! Read more

I ordered an XL, thinking it would fit loose, since I normally wear a large. It was too small. Couldn’t even button it closed. It fit like a medium. I have no idea why. I could tell as soon as I unfolded it that it was too small. Returned it. The quality of the garment was lovely, so I was very disappointed. Read more

Supper comfortable! I’ve been a fan of wool socks for years, I thought I’d enjoy the feeling covering my torsos with wool too. I don’t find it scratchy, not to warm or to cold. I’ve got long arms so sleeves sometimes are a few inches to short but that’s not the case with this sweater. I’ve had it for two days and I’ve hardly taken it off. That being said I thought the buttons were leather but you can see from the rubbing wear in the picture that it’s not. It looks and feels like plastic that has been stained to look like leather. This wear on the buttons is just after two days of wearing it at work I’m a little worried about how it will look in the future, but it doesn’t effect the functionality at all. Read more
