Excellent quality and love the style with the semi-open front — very flattering. I usually like my sweaters large but they were out of L in the color I wanted, so I ordered an XL and crossed my fingers that it would still look okay. Glad I did as it was a perfect fit, and I don’t think a Large would have fit as well. This sweater is soft and very flattering even with my 'significant' belly. I am 5'3' and about 200 lbs. I bought the XL and love the way it fits. It cover my tummy but doesn't make me look hug and it doesn't gap at the bottom which I was afraid it would do. It seems well made and the slate grey color is very attractive - a medium dark grey. It is not quite as heavy as I expected but that's ok because I plan to wear it indoors , not as an outdoor jacket. Very pleased with my purchase and it arrived ahead ofschedule. Read more
Not a warm sweater, the weave is not tight. Worried about stretching out. Runs about one size larger. I am 125# and the XS was even slightly too big and boxy. Read more
Have come to "expect" clothing not to be as expected, but this fit as hoped even though the size chart left out the hip measurement. Also, because this sweater only buttons at the top, the bottom hem is fairly forgiving -- in addition to the stretch afforded by the nature of the knit. The color is lovely and the merino wool is soft and cozy. The styling and quality of the workmanship on this sweater is worth the investment. Highly recommend. Read more
I get compliments on this sweater everytime I wear it. I bought a white one in Ireland by the same mill and loved it so much I wanted one in blue. I live in north Idaho in snow country and this sweater keeps me warm without a bulky coat when I want to look put together so to speak. Handwash only and reshape it so it doesn't stretch out. Mistake I made with my white one. Not sure how to fix that! Read more
What a gorgeous sweater. I got the xxl in the Irish Sea. It is a beautiful color. It fits a little big. I'm between sizes so I sized up. It may shrink a little when washed. So I'm glad it's a little big. I'll be hand washing and laying flat to dry. The sleeves are long, but I cuff them. I don't mind. It is soft and warm. Only thing I would improve is the buttons. They are plastic and I would prefer wood. But it's still a 5 star sweater. Read more
I have a hard time getting and staying warm, and this sweaters looks beautiful and keeps me warm. I don't know what about merino wool makes it so soft against one's skin, but I love it. The craftsmanship of the weave is impressive, and I send my thanks to the company for a great product. Read more
