THIS SWEATER IS NOT MERINO WOOL. When I opened the package I noticed a barn-like smell. It wasn't as soft as the other sweater I purchased whose tag read "pure MERINO WOOL." Then I read the tag on this sweater, it read "PURE NEW WOOL." Read more

This is a beautiful sweater, lovely design, good weight and fit. However, it is a tweed NEW wool, not 100% merino as described. This is important for people with wool sensitivities. I would have given this sweater 5 stars if the fiber had actually been merino wool. Read more
