I really like this rice cooker. Love the simplicity of the single button. Love that it doesn't make loud beeps to wake up the house if I start breakfast early. It cooks rice really well, I was pleasantly surprised. It also makes cooking rice really simple. Due to the simplicity I'm using it more and more to make other things like oats and other grains, to steam eggs or steam vegetables. It just makes these tasks really repeatable and reliable so i can focus on another element of the meal. And when the cooking is all done, cleaning is a breeze! I used to own a sealing type rice cooker a number of years ago and cleaning that one was more involved. This one, lid and bowl can get cleaned quickly and easily. Wish I got a simpler rice cooker sooner. Every now and then I get tempted by the fancier models but I remind myself I'd use them less, the multiple buttons, multiple clicks, more parts to clean. Also I like the smaller size of this one, I typically make 1 or 2 cups so this one being able to cook 3 cups is perfect. Read more

I absolutely would not recommend this rice cooker. Spend the extra few dollars and get one with a lid that locks. I’ve only had this rice cooker for a few months, and since I got it the lid has been loose where the boiling water inside pushes the lid up and spills boiling water everywhere (see photos). Not only is it a safety hazard, but the rice doesn’t properly cook more than half the time. I missed the return window, otherwise I would have returned it. Read more
