This is one of the best products I've ever bought. I was going to get the cheaper one until I saw this one with the pop-up steamer basket for only $5. I love it! What a great valuee. I spent only $24 on this thing. I keep it in my home office and cook at least one meal a day with it. It makes cooking quick, easy, and mess-free, and I don't burn myself. It's small enough to fit almost anywhere yet I always have enough food for a second person to eat. I do wish it had a proper on/off switch, instead of needing to always be plugged and unplugged, but other than that, this thing is great. This rice cooker is perfect for making small quantities of rice, e.g., 1/2 cup of uncooked rice that results in around 2 cups of cooked rice. This allows us to have fresh cooked rice for each meal. I especially like the ceramic coated pot instead of the traditional Teflon non-stick coating. Read more

Love this! I was making rice in my insta pot and it wasn’t able to cook 1 serving of rice correctly and I hated getting it out for just a cup of rice this is perfect doesn’t take up a lot of space and the steamer on the top is really nice too and works well I’ve only used it for zucchini so far but they turned out really good. This was a replacement cooker. The first one I purchased, stopped working after one use. I set a return, with a replacement. I live in a rural area, and there is a shipping store near me, tho it does ship UPS, they can't do the return, because I have to go to a UPS store. the closest one to me is over an hour away. This second cooker did exactly the same thing, made a nice batch of rice the first time, then the sensor stopped working, and it switches to warm before the rice is cooked. So obviously there is a bad batch of sensors. I did not bother to set it for a return, because it is not worth 3 hours out of my day. So I purchased a different model. Maybe one day I will tinker with them to replace the sensors the right way. Read more

This little rice maker was all I needed. I don't think I have ever made more than four cups of cooked rice in my life. I make 2 cups, and it feeds my husband and I very well. I like the color and the fact that it is ceramic. I donated my old one that had the common nonstick coating in it that was coming off. It is not as good at steaming vegetables at the same time as rice cooking though, I think because of the plastic basket. But it does steam them if they are chopped small. And then when they are done, and I take the steamer off, the rice really heats up. Read more
