Excellent set of knives. The block looks nice and even better after some mineral oil, although it isn’t necessary. The look is not as stunning as in the pictures but all I wanted was a good set of knives. The only reason they are not five stars is that they are a little thin and light for my tastes and the block is a little small so it’s not as easy to switch between knives as my other one. However, that is just my preference and have pretty big hands but my 16 year old daughter says they are perfect and she is of average build and size for a woman. The function of the knives is 5 stars but I’m rating the product as a whole so I don’t think anyone will be disappointed, especially for the price they far outperform knives that are in the same price range and others with hefty prices and brand loyalty!
