I purchased an O kam less than six months ago and it quit working. The battery never stay charged you had to constantly take it down and charge it and I believe that caused it to not want to reconnect to the Internet. I contacted the protection plan company which I purchased a two-year protection plan and the only response I got was I needed to go to a website and do four steps and I did it three times on that website and it would just continually repeating it over and over again that I had to do these four steps on this website, I could not contact anyone for customer service and there was no way to contact anyone about this protection plan. If anyone is out to buy anything that asked to buy a protection plan through this company, I would not purchase it it’s so cheap, but they don’t honor it. You cannot contact anyone you could only get a computer to respond to you and they just repeat the same thing over and over again the only good thing about this whole experience through this so-called protection plan that some rich guy put in place and is taking everybody’s money and living the good life, but not honoring the protection order that he sells to people. Only good thing about it was Amazon honored my purchase, reimbursed me for the camera and the protection plan. And I just want everyone to know do not buy protection plan through this company. He will not honor it they will not honor excuse me which I do believe it’s a rich man taking our money and laughing because he is not helping honoring his protection plan and I’m sorry I cannot believe Amazon still has. I am allowed him to sell this protection plan on their website. Read more
I just left the product with UPS yesterday, (free shipping tag, just scan at the front door and drop it in the box), and my refund was issued today. It was applied to Amazon gift card balance and IDK if there are any other options, but that's fine with me. It might be noted, the claim was for two outdoor surveillance cameras which looked very much like they'd been outdoors, very used, and very broken. The only criteria, apparently, is that the product be within its covered period and outside the Amazon return window or manufacturer/vendor warranty. I've purchased a number of these protection plans but this is the first time i've had to use one. On that point though, if you do purchase regularly i would warn to keep track of them. I only accidentally discovered my product was covered while browsing my order history, and on that list it is not immediately apparent for which transaction the plan was purchased. I'd given up on those cameras as a loss, like 6 months ago. I've also bought plans on some much more expensive products. If i have to use one of those and get a runaround as others describe, i will be sorely disappointed and will come back to adjust my review accordingly. I can see how experiences could easily fall from 5 stars to one, if it is made difficult to collect. But as it is, i had no trouble at all following the steps outlined on the website and receiving my $90-something compensation. I'm very pleased. Read more

I bought 2 speakers and put the protection plan on both of them One went out they sent me gift card to Amazon right away when the other one went out they told me it was under manufacturer's warranty and they couldn't help me the contact the seller but the problem is I bought both of them the same exact day now I'm stuck with one speaker that I can't use because they refund the other one and I'm having to contact Amazon to try and get them to settle up on the other one Read more
