I was getting frustrated with my regular curling iron, it took too long to style, there was always a risk of burning my hair or skin, and it definitely wasn’t ideal for styling my kids’ hair before parties. Then I saw this automatic curling iron on social media and decided to give it a try, and I’m so glad I did! This tool is really impressive. I can get ready in half the time compared to my old iron, and the automatic shut-off feature gives me peace of mind. It’s decent, but dries the ends of my hair a lot faster. They split faster than usual in my opinion. Still takes a while, not much time is saved from your standard old fashion curler. Not worth the price to be honest. Read more
The media could not be loaded. There is definitely a learning curve to this curling wand. I followed the directions, which are pretty easy to understand. One thing I found tricky was the placement of the power button. I kept hitting it while making a curl, which would change the temperature. It was a bit frustrating, but as soon as I started holding the wand a bit higher, away from that button, I didn't have that problem anymore. The wand is otherwise easy to use. It shows you in the directions which way to hold it depending on which side of your hair you are curling. The power button side faces toward your head. Then you simply place the piece of hair in that little indent and press the left or right curl button. You can either hold it in and let it continue to spin for I believe 14 seconds until it beeps. Or you can release the button once all your hair is around the wand and it will stop spinning and beep after 12 seconds. Either way you do it, the beep means your curl is done and you can pull the wand away from your head to release the curl. I just hold the button in and let it spin until it beeps. I find this so much easier to use than a regular curling iron. I always end up with wonky curls because I never wrap the hair around it properly. This wand makes the perfect curl every time. Once I got the hang of it, it made curling my daughter's hair much easier, quicker and look so much nicer. I would definitely recommend! Read more
