I love this little gizmo. It’s lightweight so perfect to stick in a travel bag. I think the price is great too. I don’t have very coarse hair, so I’m not sure that this device would be for someone like that. But if you have a slight wave to your hair like mine, or you get flyaways or some frizz after you blow dry your hair and just want a quick and easy way to smooth things out, then this is the perfect hot brush. I liked the results I got. It is suitable for touch-ups on non-wash hair days, too. This is a good idea, but the placement of the buttons is not good. It is easy to shut it off by mistake and turn it to a higher temperature you may not want. I would relocate them to a less accessible area. When holding the paddle, it is easy to hit the temperature buttons and shut it off or turn it up in temperature. The buttons are a light touch button and easy to hit. This is not a good idea for someone new to this product type. A more skilled person who can work it and pay attention to not accidentally change the settings or shut it off is much better. I do not think anyone young should use this as they may burn their hair, neck, and face. This item should be supervised to avoid that. Although I had to learn not to hit the buttons, I did not return it because it does what I need. It is good for complete styling and/or a quick touch up. Read more

I used to have a L'ange Levolume 60mm which recently died. I was in the market for a new hot air dryer brush and I have shorter fine hair so I tried this one. First of all it is only 600 watts and does not blow much hot air. 2nd as I was using it my hand would touch the on off dial and accidently turn it to lower speed. 3rd It does not have a piece on the end to hold it with in the non using hand. I did like the size of the barrel. I ultimately went with the conair infinity pro knot Dr in small. It is amazing! Read more

For a BaByliss product this was rather disappointing. Because it's compact, it takes forever to do your hair, and the crimp is more angled, not rounded like most crimpers. Read more
