Definitely tastes like icky sunscreen if you get a mouthful of it but as long as you don't slather it on the inner area of your lips it is good. Tastes a little sweet, texture is good but a little more greasy and less waxy. Read more

We love Banana Boat here in this house. This lippie is soft, not waxy, doesn’t have a scent. It isn’t sticky or stinky. Does not feel thick or goopy. The Banana Boat Sport Ultra SPF 50 Lip Sunscreen does what it’s supposed to. It offers solid sun protection for your lips. However, the texture is a bit waxy and thick, and it doesn’t glide on as smoothly as some other lip balms. It also has the same gross taste that the other Banana Boat SPF lip balm has.
