Life saver! The split keyboard has become a necessity because of the long hours I spend at my desk. I had strained my wrist so badly that I wasn’t able to type normally. I was barely able to rotate my wrist, let alone type. I got this one to try to ease the strain as I was getting the use back in my left hand and wrist. It is so comfortable to type using the split keyboard that I won’t go back to standard. I didn’t realize how much pressure I was putting on my wrists to have them in position. Having the two sides spread out is very liberating. Plus I throw my pen between the keyboard and my to do list, and I’m able to keep track of things a whole lot easier. I am a mechanical keyboard enthusiast. I learned to type on an old typewriter when I was a small child, so I need the play in the keys, and the blue switch’s give me the sound and resistance play I love and need. If I don’t use a mechanical keyboard, it sounds like I’m ramming my fingers through the keyboard. Needless to say, I’m a hard typer and I’m rough on my keyboards. I have the keyboard plugged directly into my computer, so I have a great connection and no lag. Really like the feel of the keyboard. It feels substantial and solid. I like that I was able to screw the feet on so I can have outward tilt to the keyboard parts. It adds to the comfort and usability. I touch type, so I am able to use this without any real problems. It works as it should and I have had minimal adjustments in my typing behavior to be able to type. This has nothing to do with the keyboard, but I never realized that I hit the B key with my right index finger. Just makes it weird when I go to type and my finger hits air. But I’m retraining myself. Read more

I bought this because I was putting in a lot of hours at work and my wrist were bothering me. I got into mechincal KBs a couple years ago and found I really liked the brown switches so I landed on this one due to the price and features. I have used it everyday for 8-10 hours for work and this this is a workhourse. I get compliments all the time and it has really helped my wrist and arm pain. My go-to was the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 but those are so hard to find and this is worlds better on feel and sound. Nice solid base and great inputs. The bluetooth is a little quicky compared to my other wireless KBs but I typically wire directly and have 100% confidence in the inputs for work. The other downside is the space bars are impossible to match. You have to source Mistel keycaps which are pricey or live with the space bars not aways matching if you change key caps. No biggie and no one notices lol. Overall I'd buy this again for work or a second one if you work in multiple offices. Read more

I bought this specifically for work, with the option to recombine for games and it's been exactly what I needed. It's excellent for standard typing, but there's a bit of a learning curve when it comes to progreamming macros. Honestly, it's a big enough hurdle that I haven't bothered using them, even though I used quite a few on my previous keyboard. Having a BlueTooth option was a great upgrade, however, I haven't found too many practical applications for it. Either I just use it for standard things at my desk, so having a cable isn't really a big deal (and you have to charge it eventually anyway) or I need to use it remotely for some reason (maybe I'm working on a project aware from my desk?), but then having a split keyboard seems more like a liability than an asset. This keyboard is everything it advertised! They have a new model number that fixes previous minor bugs. The customer service is great. I had a response under 24hr and it helped solve my issues(which was user error). Read more

It works great; I'm enjoying it a lot. There are two reasons I'm giving this keyboard 4 stars instead of 5. The first reason is that the price feels a little too high. Now, I'm not a keyboard wizard or guru, so I don't know how to accurately put a price on this, but to me, it feels just a little high. The second reason is that I wish the key switches were hot-swappable. That being said, if you only consider the instruction book, setup, and functionality, this keyboard earns 5 stars in my opinion.
