Very happy with this purchase! I had a bamboo book holder that lasted a long time after making repairs multiple times. It was frustrating to use and still caused neck pain when I read as I was still looking down. This metal book holder's height is adjustable and I can read with the book at eye level- a real game changer for me. It is surprisingly solid and stable. I was afraid that the metal would be slippery but it is impressively unmovable due to significant weight. I use it on a plastic lap desk and it doesn't slide. It holds my thick Bible well without using the page holders. The page holders do not work on thick books. This will be an issue with a thick book in which the binding is not broken but they work well with thinner books and holds my Bible well without them so I am quite satisfied. I got this one for my tablet. The hardware is 4mm allen bolts. These are very tiny and easy to strip plus they are limited on torque ability. I would just use regular bolts. This way you can use a regular wrench and dont have to buy a allen socket set. (i already own several) But if you try to use the tool provided (little L shaped bit) it will hurt your hand and if you used a folding hex key set youd likely break it. It was kinda tight when i got it and hard to move. I loosened it and then realized it sinks on its own if you do that so it needs to be tight. I tightened it back up and its good. Id use this at home or office but probly not fold and unfold it ten times a day. The quality is great and what it does for studying is phenomenal. Its easier on the eyes, neck, back, hands, etc and makes me think more clearly. Really great job guys. Read more

Pretty good, but not the best. Not great for large textbooks (law students beware) as the prongs don’t stretch out far enough to stay put. I know it also comes with an allen wrench to adjust so it stays up, but that’s kind of annoying to do every time you use it. It doesn’t really like the weight of my heavy books either. It’s sturdy and heavy, so that’s a plus, and it’s nice quality. I like the wood look of it. However, it definitely works best for paperback books of less size as my text books. I also wouldn’t recommend it for older individuals who may have arthritis or the like as it is quite hard to get open even for me, a young person. Otherwise it does the job, but I don’t know if it’s the best option out there. Read more
