Black Leather Duo Sandals by SAS

I love these SAS shoes!!! I have very wide feet which makes finding suitable shoes impossible. Especially for special occasions but even for casual outings. These shoes literally felt like walking on a cloud, they are so comfortable, supportive, and stylish. I purchased the navy perla color in 9.5W, normally I'm a 9.5WW in shoes but the WW was too wide in these shoes. Sometimes I can get away with 9.5W depending on the toe box, and these fit perfectly. Made me happy that these shoes have a wide toe box and that you can adjust the straps on top in addition to the heel to accommodate your foot. I had to adjust the top strap to one hole less than it was to make the toe box of the 9.5W feel more comfortable for my wide feet. This helped too because the adjustment made the toe box feel more comfortable for someone like me who normally wears a 9.5WW in shoe size. My right foot, which is the bigger foot, had enough holes in the strap for my foot, but I had a shoe retailer punch one more hole in the left shoe because the amount of holes wasn't enough for my left foot, the smaller foot, to feel secure. Not a big problem though because after adding another hole the left shoe fit perfectly. I wore these navy perla shoes to a black-tie wedding this weekend to match my navy dress, was dancing in them all night. It felt like I didn’t have shoes on the whole time! My feet did not hurt at all from the shoes, they were so comfortable and my feet felt the great arch support. My feet did feel achy after the wedding but that was definitely because of all the pounding from the dancing. When I was walking in the shoes at different periods, my feet felt totally fine!! I didn't have or want to take my shoes off like I've had to do at previous special occasions because the shoes were uncomfortable after long periods. These are a nice color, and they are very comfortable. The leather is very nice and supple, the construction is impeccable. They go with pretty much any summery outfit, whether it be a pair of shorts, capris, dress, etc. Oddly enough, the medium seems a tiny bit wide (and this is coming from someone who is usually a medium, but occasionally takes a wide width). These sandals were a little tight --- they didn't have option for narrow or wide. Luckily there was enough length on the strap binding the toes that I was able to poke holes to move the buckle pin for a looser fit. After wearing the sandals for a while, there was enough support to allow me to walk all day and be quite comfortable. Maybe not as comfortable as sneakers, but these are quite dressy and can be worn with nearly anything from jeans to dressy clothes but maybe not with formal gowns. Read more

These are my third pair of this particular variety of SAS shoes (over multiple decades), and they are every bit as comfortable as always. I have walked botanical gardens for hours, spent hours on my feet at gaming conventions, and more. Previous pairs have been through sloping rain and lasted years. They have enough style to wear with a nice dress but casual enough for shorts and a tank top. I have flat feet, and it's very hard to find comfortable shoes I can walk in for hours on end.
