SAS Nudu Adjustable Comfort Sandal

This sandal is a favorite of mine. I consider it neutral style, can dress them up or down. I get compliments from women of all ages about these sandals every time I wear them. They are of outstanding quality and comfortable right out of the box. I prefer a sandal with a heel strap for days when I have to do a lot of walking. These sandals have a firm footbed, yet are very comfortable after a day of walking. The heel strap is adjustable by a buckle for a more secure fit. The other two straps across the top of the foot are secured by Velcro. I do not have a wide foot and as other reviewers have commented the Velcro straps are a little short. I decided I can live with this as I liked everything else about the sandal. I usually wear a Woman's shoe size 8 1/2 medium, the sandal fit true to size. I do like they are MADE IN USA too. This is my 3rd pair of SAS sandals and 2nd pair of the Nadu style. I bought my first Nadu in summer of 2017 after hesitating because of the price. However, I was having pain in the big toe and ball of my foot, and even just trying these on in the store, I felt immediate relief and support. I walk to and from work, am on my feet all day as a teacher, and live in Hawaii where I wear sandals year-round. So, I felt the price was worth it. I found out later that I needed a stiffer sole because of my foot/toe issue. That's one of the reasons why these shoes provided relief from pain. (Later that year I had surgery on the foot.) I have lived in those sandals ever since. The only issue I have now is the elastic piece for the back strap needs to be replaced. Easy fix and worth it as the shoe repair shop. For as much I have worn these shoes, even the heal has held up quite well with minimal wear. Since I have narrow feet, I love that I have 3 places to adjust the fit. My first pair was not narrow width, but the adjustments still made it very comfortable to wear. The only reason I bought my 2nd and now 3rd is more SAS is for color variety. Like I said, I live in these shoes because they are so very comfortable, adjustable, and supportive. And the style goes with nearly everything. I'm at the point now where I'm questioning why I even have any other shoes except my hiking, "tennis", and dress shoes. Read more

I own 3 pairs of the relaxed sandals(which are Fabulous) and 2 pair of Tour mesh tennis shoes(great walking shoe) so these surprised me by the way they fit. Velcro straps are not long enough to secure properly across the top of my foot. Good for narrow feet but not medium feet. The style looks slightly grandmotherly too. (I am one) Footbed seems great though. The relaxed sandal is the best sandal EVER. Looks like a funky Birkenstock but when you step into them WOW. I know this is not the sandal I’m reviewing but I had to throw this comment in anyway. Read more
