This is a compact and sleek looking nose and ear hair trimmer. It’s intuitive to use since there is only one button on the device, and it’s a simple on/off button. It’s powered by a single AAA battery, and there is no option to recharge via USB. The battery does add a little bit of weight, but not to the point where it’s inconvenient to use. The product is easy to use and does a good job trimming and cutting hair. It’s comfortable to hold in my hand and I’m not worried about accidentally cutting myself. The design is nice and I love the look. It’s not obvious that it’s a nose and ear hair trimmer just by its looks. The price is higher than other similar products, and I attribute that to the design - which does add value. I wish the trimmer head was removable, which would make it easier to thoroughly clean and sanitize. The side with the battery is also very oily / greasy, which got all over my fingers when I took off the cap. I’m not sure if this was an intentional design choice to make the cap easier to open. If it is, I worry that the cap will get stuck as the grease wears off over time. If it isn’t, why did the product ship with the end super greasy? Not a great experience or first impression. Otherwise, the product works and looks great. Read more

This trimmer is the best I’ve ever used. Most trimmers out there do not work well at all and can be painful. There is no pain with this one and it really does cut easily and well. This one is super easy to clean after each use. I highly recommend this Blade & Stone trimmer! Read more
I sincerely don't enjoy leaving 1-star reviews (or zero, if available), but this is completely non-working: PROS: -Very nicely packaged -Doesn't take up too much room in the trash can CONS: -the white plastic insert for battery came out with the cap; if that happens, directions are useless as the battery doesn't fit into the wrong side of the insert -When I figured out what had happened, I removed the insert and gently pushed it back up into the trimmer; while doing so, a smaller, loose plastic piece fell out, along with the metal battery contact strip it was designed to hold in place. This was BEFORE installing the battery, so nothing was knocked loose after the fact -Being the diligent, determined problem solver I try to be, managed to reverse engineer how to reassemble... only one way it all fits together, so I was confident the 15 minutes doing so was well-spent... -...until I inserted the battery, replaced the cap, and found that it didn't lock. There are markings on the bottom cap and trimmer to align, but twisting (to the also-marked lock position) didn't work. However, I held it manually to ensure battery contact (clearly not something I would appreciate being necessary if I were using the tool, but was hoping to take her for a spin for this review). -Zero power, so either the battery arrived dead or product itself is inoperational. I tried my own battery, same result. -Started from scratch to make sure everything was in it's proper place, and confirmed. Same result BOTTOM LINE: Waste of time and effort, and while packaging was well-designed and premium-feeling, the product itself is cheap, improperly assembled, and non-working. I'm disappointed, and obviously do not recommend a purchase Read more

I ordered this for an elderly friend who has trouble getting the hairs in his ears trimmed. He is capable of using it on his nose but not his ears, which I help with. The size is nice and compact, making it easily portable. The sound is not as loud as others I have had, but still does make some noise, as expected. It seems to be much better than average at getting into tighter spaces, which is so convenient. I don't have to go back over areas with small scissors to clean up what was missed. Overall, I am very satisfied with the quality of this trimmer. Price was reasonable, although a little above average but well worth it so far. Read more
First off, the packaging on this is by far the coolest you will see on any nose trimmer. Really adds to the "high end" feel of the device itself which is above and beyond anything I have seen or used before. Once you actually hold the trimmer in your hands, you know this is a solid, quality high end device. Typically, I prefer the "blade" type trimmers because they will allow you to really get in there and reach all the areas you need to- however the narrow tip on this Blade and Stone trimmer gives you similar performance and exceeds all other rotary trimmers I have tried in the past. There is a little whine when in use (and it can get warm as well) but this is due to the rotary blade spinning inside the tip, working to do its job. Nothing to complain or worry about. Rinse when you are done, let the tip dry out and place the cover back on to keep things tidy and you are good to go. I am quite impressed with the quality, design, materials and finish on this Blade & Stone trimmer. For the price, it is a great value for a high end feel, classy, quality trimmer that punches above the belt for this price range. Read more
This is a sharp-looking trimmer that does a good job, but it's not the greatest value and it's not terribly versatile. It's two or three times more expensive than the cheapest trimmers that may or may not do as well. Many trimmers include an attachment for trimming eyebrows and other stuff. Trimmers in this upper echelon are usually powered by USB-C, and this one is powered by a single AAA battery. Yes, this does a good job. I just don't feel like it's notably better than trimmers at a third of the price. Read more
