This blender is a good bargain for how well it works, really powerful & good quality - very comparable to the super expensive name brand blenders in the stores but at a fraction of the price. Really loud. Easy to clean - good 'self-cleaning' mode too. Has a lot of features but pretty user friendly & easy to use. I really like the measurements written on the side & the cord organization around the bottom for easy storage. I like that the pitcher is made of good thick plastic instead of heavy (potentially dangerous) glass - makes pouring a lot easier because it's much lighter. Great sharp metal blades easily demolition anything it comes in contact with. I have no complaints (other than how loud it is but as expected) - works great & should last a long time. I highly recommend! Read more

We just started using this and were thrown off-guard by how loud and powerful this blender is. We blended a bit of icecream with bananas and this thing went through that stuff with no effort. Pros: + Powerful and plenty of capacity for a small family + Durable body + Nice to have "self-cleaning", although we do a manual clean as well Cons: - Loud. Really loud. - Expensive ($130 on Amazon at the time of review) Overall, a recommended buy at a slightly lower price. Be ready for noise. Read more

The media could not be loaded. This is a very nice blender. It is made using quality materials which are especially notable in the finer details of the base, the pitcher and the accessories. It has plenty of power to turn just about anything you throw into it into a smooth liquid or powder (in the case of grinding dry goods such as nuts/ice/etc) in little time. The product shows that the engineers paid attention to detail in the way everything works together (the lid, the "stir-stick", the power cord storage space underneath and the motor timer). The most innovative feature of this blender is the timer function. It allows you to set it and forget it, so you don't have to sit there and have your ears blown out if you want to blend something that will take 30 seconds to 5 minutes to complete. Simply set the controls for timed operation and it will stop automatically after the set amount of time. I tested the accuracy of the timer and even at 30 seconds, it was practically (if not absolutely) spot on. The motor will run like a weed-whacker on steroids, but will also whirl very smoothly and quietly at VERY low speeds, the likes of which I have never seen before in your typical kitchen appliance. Very nice when you want to be gentle on the contents, or need to stir things up (like a smoothie or ice cream) over a longer period of time to give the dry ingredients time to combine and meld with the wet ingredients and for flavors to make their way through the bulk of the food. As I alluded to above, it can be pretty loud during operation, especially when on one of its more frighteningly powerful settings. But it's not the loudness per-se that leads me to believe it is a less-than brilliantly-engineered machine, but the somewhat "raspy" quality of the sound that it makes that worries me that it isn't as polished a product as some of the premium brands that have earned their good reputations over the decades in kitchens around the world. That said, kudos to the engineers for putting in beefy knobs and switches that will outlast the motor in this thing, and for designing the motor to operate in such a way that it slow-starts (smooth-starts) so that the contents of the blender don't blow up in your face and it doesn't go flying off your countertop. Another thing I want to mention is that the very clear acrylic pitcher/bowl/jar of the blender is very high quality which should not stain or scratch easily like some of the cheaper products on the market - so it should look good for the life of the blender. The jar has markings for both ml and ounces and can be placed onto the base in any of 4 positions, so that the markings/handle is located most conveniently. However, when the OZs markings are facing the user, the handle will be in the left-rear corner of the base. In other words, it favors the metric markings/graduations - when those are facing the user, the handle is at the right-front corner of the blender. The cutting blades assembly is permanently attached to the food vessel (fortunately or not, depending on how you think about it) which makes cleaning slightly more cumbersome, but the benefit is that you don't lose parts, and you never have to worry about a seal that could end up leaking as some blenders with removable cutter assemblies sometimes do. One last thing: the lid fits securely using a flexible, double-seal gasket. Nothing is getting past that seal. On the downside, you have to tug on it pretty well to get it off, so it's good that the lid has a nice handle on it to provide leverage and make the task much easier. I believe this blender will provide many years of time-savings and utility in any kitchen setting, home or commercial, and is certainly a value proposition to be considered by any value-conscious shopper. This blender appears to be heavy duty and made to last. The motor is powerful and the pitcher is not fragile with a lid that fits snugly. Controls are easy to read and functional. We use it at our home bar for blending drinks and it's top notch. It's easy to clean and maintain. A great option for the money to consider on Amazon if you're in the market. Read more

Really like the strength behind this blender. It has a job to do and it is willing to do it. The base is solid and heavy enough to keep it in place. The cord can be wound up underneath. The dials are clear and easy to use. The pitcher part is a thicker, hard plastic with a well placed handle. It is rather tall which has pros of being able to handle a full pot of soup but cons of being hard to get evacuate the end results if what is made is thicker. The lid has just the right amount of suction to stay on during power blending. The center piece locks into place and is just big enough for the tamper to fit. The self cleaning is basically just blending water and soap but it works and makes clean up easier. We used it for a Vegan "cheese" sauce recipe that is made with cashews. The blender made the cashews perfectly creamy and blended all the spices very well. This blender is worth it. Read more

What a blender!! I have not used a blender of this design in some time because none of the ones I have had in the past have been powerful enough. This one breaks out of that mold within seconds!! this blender can puree anything - and I do mean ANYTHING! I used it to make bone broth for my dogs - by boiling then blending the bones of a whole chicken I cooked. It turned to pure liquid in seconds and did not leave any small or sharp pieces - not even of the vertebrae which often happens with my inverted style blender. This blender is quite large - it can hold and puree up to a 1/2 gallon of anything. I made smoothies with it and I usually have to make them one at a time, but in this unit I can make 2 large smoothies - enough to satisfy 2 adults. I am extremely happy with this blender. Read more
