For years, I was regularly purchasing cheap brand trimmers to keep my beard at the desired length. As well as keep my overall body hair tamed down. It did the job, but was not ideal. This is the first time I have used a higher quality electric trimmer like a Braun. The overall build quality seems to be top notch. It's much quieter than I was expecting and yet the trimming capabilities are flawless. Being wireless, it makes it easier to use in situations where there is not an outlet available. The weight is also surprisingly light. It gets so much closer than my previous model and has not pulled on any hairs while cutting which is a plus. The adjustment capabilities have many different settings to allow the exact length you are after. The included accessories like the nose hair trimmer is also something I did not realize I needed until after using it. I was using small scissors for years and using this trimmer is so much faster. For my body hair it works amazingly well too. Having so many length adjustment options really lets me dial in the exact length I want versus my previous trimmer. I have been using this trimmer for almost a month now and have only charged it once. And this was not because the battery died but I just wanted to make sure it was toped off before using it. I have a strong feeling that the internal battery lasts for quite a long time in between charges. Although it is a little on the expensive side of $119, I feel the quality and trimming quality capabilities are superb and will last much longer than my previous trimmer. Read more

I've used A LOT of razors over the years for my hair and beard, plus my wife is in the business. Needless to say, I know by now what I like. Full honesty, I personally use and get by with sub $50 trimmers and do just fine with them. So when this big boy came about to try, it was without hesitation. I'm super impressed with it so far...and the quality/price difference is very apparent with how it cuts, that's for sure. Initially, I thought the dial system to change lengths was going to be gimmicky and not work great, but I was very wrong. It's rock solid and even has a lock so you can't bump the dial whilst shaving...which I would 100 percent do. There are probably more micro adjustments than you even need, but they're there. Now my 2 negatives. One is the case. I love the provided hard shell case, and I love that I don't need to carry extra guards when I travel, but, I'd love for the case to be able to hold the charging cord (which doesn't always require the base fyi). Which brings me to my second negative- the charging cord. Here we are in 2026 and we still haven't all unified to one singular usb-c charging cord. I have other razors that are, so I'm not sure why this still needs to be unique. I'm going on a trip in a few weeks, and I really don't want to pack another cord. I highly doubt it I will even need it, but I feel compelled to bring it as there's always that, what if scenario. Having said all that, it's a really nice razor and the quality is evident. I'm not sure if I personally would splurge this much on a razor, as my cheap-os fair pretty well on my beard thus far, but I'm certainly enjoying this one. It will be interesting to see if these blades stay much sharper for longer than my other razors. I'd still have no problem recommending this one though. Read more

I have been using the Braun All-in-One Series 9 PRO Beard and Body Trimmer for a couple of weeks now, primarily for maintaining light facial stubble. Although it comes with a wide variety of attachments, I most often use it without a guard for facial hair. It does a very nice job of keeping a clean, minimal stubble look without giving me a fully shaved appearance. The build quality stands out immediately. The trimmer feels solid in hand and has just enough weight to inspire confidence without feeling heavy or awkward. It feels like a well-constructed device rather than something flimsy or disposable. Battery life has also been impressive so far. I am still on the original charge after a couple of weeks of use, trimming every two to three days. For my usage pattern, that is more than sufficient. It includes a nice travel case, which is a thoughtful addition. However, the case only accommodates the trimmer itself. While the battery life may make frequent charging unnecessary, there is no space for the charging cord inside the case. That leads to my main complaint. With so many devices moving to USB-C, it would have been ideal to see that here. USB-C would make charging while traveling much easier and eliminate the need for a proprietary cable. Overall, this is a high-quality, versatile trimmer that performs very well for maintaining stubble and general grooming. The lack of USB-C and limited case storage keep it from being a perfect score for me, but it is still a strong 4 out of 5 stars. Pros: - Solid, premium feel with good weight and construction - Excellent performance for maintaining light stubble - Long battery life - Wide variety of included attachments - Includes a travel case Cons: - Uses a proprietary charging cable instead of USB-C - Travel case does not accommodate the charging cord Read more
