Perfect replacement for my Delta shower hose. Both ends are conical, which I needed, and the oil-rubbed finish matches my existing fixtures. Best of all it was less than 1/3 of the price of a Delta brand hose. Installed in 5 minutes, no leaks & looks great. Read more
When we replaced our tub shower with a walk in, the hand held shower head had a 6' cord. Being older, we had put a fold up teak shower seat on the far wall. The hose was long enough to reach the other side of the shower with the spray, but when you were sitting on the seat trying to rinse your legs/feet, the hose was so short that you could nor turn the shower head to rinse. So I ended up having to hold it by the head, which caused my arthritis to act up. In addition, the hose was too short for the shower head to reach the seat. Therefore, when I was lathering up I would have to lay the shower head down on the floor of the shower. The weight of the cord immediately pulled the head back to the front of the shower, leaving me to try and get up and grab the head with soapy feet which were very slippery. Really defeated the purpose of having a "safe" shower to prevent falls. This hose was swapped out for the old one and now the shower works great! This is long enough that I can sit on the seat, put the shower head on the seat beside me, then hold it in my hand and turn the head sideways of my body to thoroughly rinse off my legs and feet. No more having to stand up with soapy, slippery feet to try and retrieve the shower head. The chrome finish looks nice and bright, stays clean, does not kink up, and does not leak. I LOVE it! Day 1: 5-stars. This thing was SO easy to install. The thing that took the longest was figuring out how to remove the protective plastic caps (hint: pull one of the tabs up and then it will pop off) and then unscrew the little plastic piece that is there to hold the washer in place. Screw onto your shower head and handle. Voila! Ours is the Delta venetian bronze, color matched perfectly. I also agree with other reviews - the flexibility and mobility of this hose, compared to the factory original, is SO wonderful. I didn't realize how rigid the Delta hose was, but this one hangs nicely. So far, again it's only been a day, but the quality is good - no leaks, water flows nicely. It is a little shorter than the factory one - but also I did not measure and it's still plenty long, so no concerns. If anything changes, I'll come back and update. So no news is good news from here on out. Read more

We have a very nice dual shower head (local purchase) which is several years old. The coupling on the handheld cracked and eventually just came off. Since it's in good condition, I decided to try just replacing the hose. Tried this one as it was a decent price and not shorter than the current hose (79" and our existing was 72"). I did have a tiny moment of "uh oh" when installing. It went onto the handheld very easy, but not so much on the shower head fixed to the wall. I thought it was too small, but it turned out the threads were just not as forgiving and had to be lined up perfectly to get it started. It did go on and fits nice and tight. No leaks from either end, and I just used the teflon tape that was left on from the previous hose (FWIW it did not come with teflon tape). One surprising bonus that I'm loving about this hose is that it's very flexible. Didn't realize how stiff the original hose was until I pulled this one out of the package. Even when under pressure with water, it stays flexible. A+ Have only been using it about a week, so we'll see how long it stands up, but so far I'm very happy with it and would definitely recommend.
