I absolutely LOVE this back cushion!! It's perfectly dense and hard, great for supporting your spine. I love using it against my back in bed, and for the first time, it feels really comfortable when I sit up in bed. I have a spinal curvature, bulging and herniated discs, annular tears, muscle spasticity, fibromyalgia and M.E./chronic fatigue syndrome. My back is jacked up, extremely tense, and I have full-body chronic pain. So I'm very picky with products that have to do with comfort and wellness. And this cushion is so awesome! I can tell that this cushion is appropriate for larger people and not just petite women like me ( I'm 5'1"). It's very lightweight but sturdy, and easy to carry around. Personally, I'd like if that opening in the middle was less open, but I don't have any big complaints. It's very effective, and a million times better than a regular pillow or memory foam cushion. It smells funny when you first get it, but that completely goes away. It's fantastic! LOVE!♡ Update: The price has more than doubled in the past 2 years! This item is so overpriced now that it's ridiculous. I have to decide whether to repurchase it since I had to leave behind most of my belongings in my recent move. I'm not sure it's worth that much money now. $28 to $66 is just too big a jump. The quality is pretty good, but damn, not THAT good. Too bad. Update: I took the leap anyway. I’ve always used lumbar supports but I still come out of my chair w a sore lower back so I decided to bit the bullet on this one. This one is a game changer, over been using it for the past week carrying it with me to the office, my car, and my pc at home and keep in mind, I’m sitting down for majority of the day and it extremely comfortable and I feel like my back soreness has gone away. Great back support and stays firm for entire usage. We have a concave couch and this has helped my lower back significantly to maintain good posture and not slouch into the couch. At first, this lumbar cushion seemed to hard, and my back was too sensitive to lean back against it. But, I've been having sciatic-like nerve pain from my tailbone and heel pain. I gave the cushion another try, this time on a dining chair and then in my car. I'm a lot more comfortable using it in both seats now. It helps push me forward so that my legs aren't feeling pressure from the seat cushion below. I only have one of these and gladly move it as I go about my day, sitting at the table, in my recliner, and in my car. It's shape gives nice support now without feeling so rigid. I bought the lumbar support, the contoured seat, and even the foot rest. I can’t be more impressed with the quality, and especially the indescribable support and comfort of these three items. I have been trying for over 10 years to get cushions for my back after a lumbar injury. I also have scoliosis, and have muscle spasm pain every single day. Now for a sort of funny discovery regarding the foot support. I almost didn’t buy that, thinking I could just throw a pillow on the ground if I ever needed a foot rest.
