I got these to help with my hallux limitus that I have in one foot. I've been using them in tennis shoes and they've worked well, providing relief. I played tennis the other day and for the first few points went without this insole and immediately felt some pain; I swapped in an insole and I was able to play the rest of the match without further noticeable aggravation. Having the insole in place while playing did not hamper me at all in terms of moving about, nor was it a distraction. Having one shoe with an insole and the other shoe without was also not any type of problem. I wear 8.5 shoes so purchased the 8-8.5 size. I was able to insert them into my tennis shoes without a problem, though it was a moderately tight squeeze to get them in place. These are not 100% stiff, btw--they are generally very firm, but from end-to-end you'll get a little curve to them and this bit of play seems to work well for facilitating movement but also providing support. These were great. A little struggle to get them into 3/4 boot, but the whole point is the rigidity so it is perfect. Price was very good for the quality. Using in conjunction with insole inserts per podiatrist recommendation. They work fine together. Read more

I'm used to contoured carbon fiber insoles, and these are flat. I find them to be much less comfortable than the contoured insoles. They are quite a bit less expensive, though. Read more

Yes these are an affordable way to save oneself from having to switch inserts to other pairs of shoes. Not as high quality as a podiatrist but do the job. Read more

Wear a 12 and bought the 12-12.5, to tight to get into my shoe and the description says they should have a 1/4-1/2 inch of play in the toe so no idea how that’s possible with the sizing they are selling. I was able to trim them up a good bit with a grinder and sand the edges smooth to fit much better. Product is great but the sizing is off. Read more

So surprised, I thought 15.00 if it didn't work I would only be out that amount of money. People! I'm so surprised, and pleased. I waited to see if my big toe were I have hallux rigidus would start hurting. It was so inflamed from previous supports that I had to pay big money for. So while waiting for these inserts to come in I was able to get my inflamation down . So when inserts came in I would be ready to see if they worked. After it day I was thrilled. But did not want to get my hopes up. I'm now going on a full week and am super happy to not hurt so bad and inflamation has stayed down as well. Will be buying a second pair to use in my other shoes.
