You can really taste the sweet, floral notes, with a lingering umami. It's delicious as a latte or just with water (which is called usucha!). It is sourced from Kagoshima, which is known to have floral/sweeter matchas! I think anyone, whether you're just starting out with matcha or an advanced drinker, will really enjoy this. I drink a matcha every morning, have been for 7-8 years now. I used to get my matcha straight from Japan but with its recent popularity and therefore shortages, I decided to try this super easy Japanese import here on Amazon. I’m so relieved to find a steady fix that I like so much!!! The matcha powder is bright, fine and fragrant. It arrived in a sealed gorgeous canister I can leave out on the counter. I blend my matcha with collagen, hemp seeds, Celtic salt and a little sweetener so it’s like a nut milk latte. This matcha didn’t really well. It’s smooth and delicious in a latte. I’ve tried several matcha powders at home and this one is by far a favorite. Has great color, and flavor. I like my matcha strong and to be able to taste it. Powder was very nice to whisk without it being grainy off the pour which is sometimes a problem with new places I visit.
