I was recently travelling, and I found powering my Oral B iO 8 was difficult. (You should know that my standard of comparision is my Sonicare. Yes, I use both.) The iO 8 doesn't hold a great charge, and in a Yellowstone campground I didn't have access to an electrical outlet. What to do? Wait until I got home and searched Amazon. This charger has been the answer to my need. It fully charges my iO 8 as quickly as the plug-in charger. It obviously increases the functionality of my iO 8! This is a very nice looking, excellent charger that works and looks as advertised. The magnet is very strong and definitely keeps it mounted securely. If this charger was the included charger with the brush I would have been totally satisfied. This unit is well made, charges fast and looks nice as well. The charger that came in the box with my Oral B iO 10 stopped functioning after 7 months. I thought the replacement chargers were expensive and kept the brush aside and started using my second brush., until i stumbled on this item.
