If you are an avid pink lover as I am just keep in mind this is a more peach color. Next to all of my pink appliances it does not go well. However it is exactly the color in the picture. I checked the review pictures to try to see the actual color to make sure it was not a few shades off. In the pictures from others it looked to me more of the pink I was looking for, but it is not. I will be returning just because I have a certain color and if I can't find it then I default to white...overall it is as described and works well...easy to clean, easy to grate, easy to assemble and disassemble. I have to say I was slightly skeptical when I saw this being used on a youtube video. But I liked the guys show and decided to give it a shot. I've always used a box shredder or if I was doing something that required a lot I used a Cuisinart. The box shredder is tedious especially on hard cheeses and the Cuisinart is big and bulky and a pain to clean. So when I got the shredder I was very skeptical on its functionality. Well let me be the one who toll you so! This thing rocks. One, once you suction the base to the counter top, it's not going anywhere. Two, this thing shreds like crazy. If you put too much in the hopper it will shred so fast it will cause the barrel to fill up and get stuck. You'll have to use a fork to get the cheese out. I made Chicago deep dish pizza the other day. I shredded 1lb of mozzarella cheese lickity split. Then I used the fine shredder on some Parmigiano reggiano which was a chore on the box shredder but in this, 6 ounces took just a minute or so. As for clean up, it's a breeze. The barrel disconnects from the handle and the barrel assembly disconnects from the base so you only have 3 pieces to wash, or 4 if you use both graters. It also makes slices if you so desire. My mom just used it to shred up zucchini for fritters and she said she's glad I bought it. She's already told her sister and a good friend to purchase one. Assembly was pretty easy and cleanup after using is also easy. For my first grating job, I attempted to grate a potato, which turned out to be more challenging than gently pushing down on the top and spinning the wheel. Grating still takes work. I found that while I was grating, I had to constantly adjust the potato and it was difficult to keep the grater grounded against the counter. It might work better if I tried on a lower surface so I could use my weight as a leverage, but as it is, it's still not quick and easy to grate. It is simpler than a normal grater, though, so I'll keep working with it and update my review if it becomes any easier. Read more
