This meat cleaver does a great job slicing meat and cutting through bones. Whether you are cutting through chicken or beef bones, this knife gets the job done well. The blade is extremely sharp and also serves well as a general duty knife as it will make clean cuts on just about anything. The handle is actually made of real wood and looks much better than the faux wood you find on most of the knives from a Chinese brand. I don't care for the laser etched design on the knife metal, but at least it is subtle compared to most. Overall this is a great knife and provides strong value at $50. Read more

I have two relatively expensive sets of knives but they did not come with a knife block. This has been a great solution for me as I just have it placed on my kitchen island next to the steel butchers block I have. I like the build quality and even though there are suction cups to keep it in place you can't really see them and this block is secure! I am able to use both sides and all of my knives are accommodated on here. The magnetic block holds everything in place, though there is one smaller knife that seems to slip a little but that's likely due to the metal in the knife. Overall i'm very happy with this item.
