I'm in the middle of trying out this 7-capsule trial pack of Folius Labs L-Citrulline out of curiosity, and I ended up liking it more than I expected. If you lean toward clean, no compromise supplements, this one is clearly built for ingredient purists. Each capsule delivers 750 mg of L-Citrulline standardized to at least 98% purity, with zero fillers or additives. Just the active ingredient in a vegan capsule. Straightforward and clean. What stood out right away is that it is lab tested for microbes and heavy metals, which checks an obvious safety box. The packaging is minimal and recyclable, which I also appreciate. Everything about this product feels intentional, from the purity standard to the visual design. It has a very stripped down, minimalist approach. That said, the dosage is where it may fall short for some people. One capsule provides 750 mg, which works well if you are easing in or gauging how your body responds. But if you are aiming for commonly referenced clinical ranges for exercise performance or nitric oxide support, typically around 3 to 6 grams per day, you will need multiple capsules. There is also no publicly available Certificate of Analysis or visible third party certifications like NSF or USP, which may matter to more detail oriented buyers. What I liked: + 98%+ pure L-Citrulline, lab-verified + No fillers, additives, or allergens + Vegan, non-GMO, recyclable packaging + Easy to swallow capsules What could be better: - Very low dose at 750 mg per capsule - No visible third party certification or CoA - No information on farming source or organic status - cGMP facility mentioned but not clearly verified Who it is for: Anyone looking for a very clean, vegan friendly supplement and a low commitment way to test their response to L-Citrulline, or to stack it alongside other nitric oxide support ingredients. Who it is not for: Those wanting full clinical doses in a single serving, or people who rely heavily on verified third party certifications to assess supplement quality. My final thoughts: I feel that this is a high purity, no nonsense L-Citrulline in a convenient trial format. It will not fit most use cases due to it's low dose, but if you value simplicity, clean labeling, and ingredient restraint over marketing extras, it delivers where it counts. Read more

We chose to review the, "FOLIUS LABS Clean Label L Citrulline Supplement – Supports Muscle Health, Boosts Nitric Oxide, Pre-Workout Amino Acid." We were expecting a larger amount to try, as 7 capsules don't exactly give you a good sense of the effects or not. Since it's hard to say how well it works due to the minimal amount of capsules, we can't really give it a better rating at this time. The nutrition and dosing information on the package was so small, we had to get help to read it. We'd like to say that the ingredients are great and it's a very helpful amino acid for your body, so in that sense, we can recommend it. We'd just have liked to have tried it for 30 or 60 days to really give a comprehensive review. THANK YOU AMAZON VINE PROGRAM!!! Read more

I have only been using this supplement for a short time before workouts and cannot say it has either helped nor hindered my workouts. I've never used a Citrulline supplement before so I have no source of comparison but my understanding from reading about it, is that 6,000 mg. to 8,000 mg. are typical doses while this supplement is 750 mg. Perhaps over time it would make a difference, but I only have a trial pack so I can't speak to that. It's also possible that as a vegetarian who eats tons of fruits and vegetables, my nitric oxide level might be high to begin with so that adding to it may make no difference. I have no way of checking for that possibility. On a positive note, this company appears to be very conscientious about producing clean products with no fillers, additives or preservatives. Additionally they are 3rd party tested for purity. I would recommend this for someone who wishes to try a lower dose of Citrulline. Read more

The media could not be loaded. L-citrulline supplements are popular for boosting nitric oxide, improving blood flow, enhancing athletic performance (endurance, recovery), working by converting to L-arginine in the kidneys which boost the body's nitric oxide levels leading to vasodilation. Natural sources are watermelon, cucumber and cantaloupe to name a few. Most studies i have read show that using this supplement for pre workout is the preferred method, with most serving size around 6-8 grams, so this product at .75 grams would seem to be less potent.
