Folius Labs seems to be a clean ingredient supplement company made up of a small group of doctors. This L-leucine is manufactured in India, and they provide quality testing reports on their website. I wanted to try L-leucine for muscle growth and metabolic health. A longer testing period may be needed beyond a 14 day trial, but the supplement is easy to take and has no adverse side effects. I like trying single-ingredient supplements, and this L-leucine trial pack keeps things very straightforward. The capsules are easy to swallow, had no noticeable taste, and didn’t cause any stomach discomfort for me. Ingredient-wise, it’s just leucine in a vegetable capsule, which I appreciate since I’m sensitive to unnecessary fillers. Because this is a short trial size, it’s hard to draw big conclusions about long-term effects like muscle growth or metabolic changes. That said, I didn’t experience any negative side effects, and it fit easily into my routine alongside workouts. Recovery felt steady and consistent, though nothing dramatic in such a short window. Overall, this feels like a solid option for anyone who wants a clean, no-extras leucine supplement and prefers trying a smaller amount first before committing long-term. Read more

It's hard to say whether these (or any supplements) really work unless you use them for a long time and measure the results. I didn't have enough in my package to really tell. The good news is that I felt no ill effects from them at all. I do take issue with the soft packaging. These supplements are powder in capsules. When mine arrived, at least two of the capsules were crushed, leaving a lot of powder loose in the package. I'd put them in a bottle. Read more

This l-leucine supplement is great for those who are doing gym training or otherwise engaging in intense exercise. The research on l-leucine is well supported, and shows that it can help increase muscle mass and improve recovery from exercise. Having gotten a trial pack, I can't necessarily speak to muscle gains from it (yet!), but I found that taking it did suppress my appetite a bit (not a bad thing), and made my muscles feel less tired. I appreciate the value of the trial pack (enough for 7 days) at less than $6. The other thing I appreciate is the purity / lack of other ingredients. There is a tendency for supplement manufacturers to put binders and fillers into their supplements. These are just regular vegan capsules with pure l-leucine inside. I often notice when I take supplements which have binders and fillers - they make my stomach feel a little weird and queasy. I didn't have anything like that from these. I didn't get any weird taste or aftertaste from the capsules either. So the quality of the supplement seems very high. I'm happy with the price and value of these and I'll definitely consider getting more. Read more

This L-Leucine supplement is simple, clean, and easy to take. I like that it’s labeled clearly with no unnecessary additives — just what’s needed to support muscle recovery. I used it during and after workouts, and it helped reduce soreness and support lean muscle maintenance. The powder mixes fairly well in water or a shake, though it has a slightly bitter taste, which is common with amino acids. The trial pack is a nice way to test it before committing to a full-size bottle. I appreciate that it’s designed with transparency and quality in mind. After a week of use, I could feel a small but steady improvement in recovery time. Overall, this is a clean and effective supplement for those focused on fitness and muscle health. A great option if you want a straightforward amino acid product without extra fillers. Read more

Only got the trial size with 14 capsules, so my experience is anecdotal and I can't claim it's based on long-term use. However, I have a pretty good anecdote. Receiving these coincided well with the trip up to the Enchantments wilderness. It's a beautiful high Alpine lake and mountain area near Leavenworth Washington that's extremely hard to get permits to camp in. With no camping permits we were limited to single day adventures, and I took a serving of this each day. On our big day we hiked about 22 miles, with almost 6,000 feet of elevation gain, carrying climbing gear, and did a bit of rock climbing back in there to boot. I typically suffer from a lot of cramps, typically hamstrings, toes, and intercostals. This was a really big day for me (we were awake for over 20 hours and on our feet and moving during about 17 hours of that time), and I was dreading the cramps in the night afterward. Well, they never came. I can't say with100% confidence that that was because of this leucine, but I'm pretty convinced that this had something to do with it, and I'm going to be getting more. I've had no bad experience with this product, digestive or otherwise. Read more

L Leucine is an amino acid nutrient that appeals to me for the potential benefits of (but not limited to!) muscle repair and recovery, blood sugar regulation and healthy hormonal balance. The cost of this sample pack of 14 capsules (a two week regimen) is very reasonable and allows me to determine benefits without investing in a full sized bottle. I’ve found the pills not overly large and simple to swallow. For me, I so far feel that I may noice a bit of improvement in blood sugar regulation, not experiencing the swings that are off putting and have become more common as I’ve grown older. I’m eager to note whether it dos further assist with benefits of activity! I’ve had no ill side effects from this supplement at all and have found it easy to digest. Product information states that the only ingredient aside from the l leucine (standardized to be 99% pure) is the vegetable content of the capsule itself. For those interested, it is produced in India and distributed stateside by a company in WA. Read more
