Ok, so I'm not the most experienced home barista, lol, but based on all the YouTube videos I've seen, I definitely needed something better than the ill-fitting plastic tamper that came with my Gaggia Classic Pro espresso machine. So I took a chance on this tamper and I'm happy I did. I thought an expensive tamper was really overkill and kind of ridiculous (at least for me), but I found this reasonably priced one, and my espresso shots are awesome! My only beef with this tamper is that sometimes when I'm tamping, the tamper unscrews itself from the handle, which is annoying. I'm not sure why it's not more securely fastened -- but it's really not a huge issue and overall I feel this one has tremendous value for its price. Other hardcore espresso affeccionados may disagree but, hey I'm not planning to open a cafe anytime soon :) Read more
