This back massager/cushion is so delightful that my husband won’t give it back! I strapped it to his office chair (he works from home) for him to try out. Little did I know how much he’d love it! It transforms the entire feel of the chair without even turning it on—the cushions are so comfortable! The remote control is attached on the right side and very easy to navigate. (A side note; there is a pocket on the right side in which you can tuck away the controller, keeping it neatly nearby.) There are separate areas of the back which can receive massage; upper, lower, hips and thighs, and three levels of vibration. The lumbar support is operated by using the bulb pump that is also attached on the right side. A wonderful feature is the heat function, which will keep you comfortable even in the chilliest air conditioning or brutal winter weather. My husband is always cold so this is probably the most important feature for him! One can set a timer for 30, 60 or 90 minutes and then the unit shuts itself off. For someone like my husband who sits for hours at a time, this back massager will rejuevnate and revive your back, buttox and legs and enable you to be much more comfortable. I really wish we’d found this years ago, it is making my hard-working husband far more happy as he works. Highly recommend for folks who sit for long periods of time. Read more

Perfectly fits in a regular recliner chair. The different settings like “roll” and “tap” go across every section, so if you want to de-select one like not have the vibration on just the neck or low back, it defaults to just plain vibration. ( you can’t have the preset programs/vibration patterns unless you’re ok with it being across the entire thing.) I personally have pain in my low back, so I really like being able to turn the massager on for every section EXCEPT the low back to avoid discomfort. Much more gentle than a typical “kneading” massager, the vibration can be 1 of 3 strengths. The lowest option is still strong but there’s no pressure from the massage, not deep muscle massaging just gentle buzzing on your back. The heat can be turned on and off individually for the seat and back, either low or regular. (You can do no heat, heat on just one, low heat on one and regular heat on the other, etc.) the plug/cord is long enough to reach a wall outlet pretty easy but an extension cord could bring this to any chair. The material is a comfortable soft, the fabric doesn’t get uncomfortable with the heat. The remote is simply designed/easy to understand, and attached to the massager with a cord so you can’t loose it but there is also a side pocket to store it if wanted. Overall comfortable and relaxing. You can even just use the heat without any massage settings on so it will be nice in the winter. I recommend this, I’m not sure how long it will hold up I just got it a week ago. Read more

Terrible potent chemical odor coming from this product right out of the bag. My eyes and lungs are burning, and having some cognitive and speech problems after being exposed to this COMFIER Back Massager Seat Cushion. I feel it should have a Prop 65 Warning on it. Or some other kind of health warning for people with chemical sensitivities, COPD or other conditions. I'm not talking just about the smell, but whatever was emanating from this device has negatively impacted my health. I do not perceive this to be a typical "manufacturing odor" that might off-gas overnight. This product is SATURATED in something. There are bands that are designed to secure this massager to the chair or seat -- that may not fit around your seat of choice, so keep that in mind too. Would have taken a photo except I could not get in back in the plastic bag too soon and out of my house. Instruction pamphlet was fairly clear despite not being professionally edited. The remote was intuitive. Read more

I ordered this heated seat cushion, another Comfier cushion without the massage function, and a 3rd from Labrous to see which would work best for me. I work in a cold office and my hands get pretty cold and stiff which makes it hard to type. We aren't allowed to use space heaters anymore so I figured I would try one of these to see if it would help. I tested all the cushions I ordered at home and purposely made it cold enough in the house to make my hands cold. None of the cushions I ordered ever reached their stated temperature. I measured the surface temperatures with an infrared thermometer on the highest setting for each cushion and the two Comfier brand cushions only ever made it to ~107 degrees Fahrenheit while the other brand was a little lower even though it had a higher stated temperature. I sat on the cushions for about 20-30 minutes each as that's about how long it takes for my little space heater to warm up my hands. Both Comfier cushions were actually nice and toasty, but not hot enough to ever get my hands warm. If you don't have the same concerns as I do and just want something to keep you from sitting on cold leather seats in your car, I think all of the cushions I tried would actually work perfectly. Just for reference, I checked the temperature of a pretty standard Sunbeam heating pad I have on it's highest setting and it only reached about 103 degrees. So if you think the temperature of a standard heating pad on high would be good enough for you, this should be slightly better. Just a side note that only applies to this cushion since it has extra stuff inside for the massage function--you can kind of feel some of the internal components of this cushion when you sit on it, but I put the cushion on a pretty soft couch and I think that kept me from being bothered by it. If you plan to put this on a firm seat or just plan to sit on it for several hours at a time, the internals might start to become annoying. Read more
