Love it! It straightened thick 4b/4c African American hair (with the included comb attachment) to the root! Was using Revlon paddle brush blow dryer. My Revlon worked to use it first, but I followed up with this dryer, and it straightened it even more (stretched it 2 more inches). And it got to the thick, tight roots! Highly recommend! Read more

My mom owned this same dryer and used it to blow out my hair my entire life. I’m 25 now and i’ve tried a few other dryers but NOTHING compares to this dryer. I’m sister locked now so I don’t use the comb attachment but when my mom used it on me she could get my hair pin straight. It has 4 heat settings. One of which is so incredibly hot that I wouldn’t suggest ever using it lol. My hair is very thick (600 + sisterlocks) and usually takes 2 days to air dry so this dryer is essential for my winter haircare routine. I use the second coolest setting and it takes me about 10-15 minutes to get 80% dry. My only complaint is that there is no diffuser and it’s a bit heavy, at least for me. The weight is honestly just a testament to how sturdy and well manufactured it is. Luckily my boyfriend usually helps with the back once i’m wore out or just blow dries the whole thing for me. Even with the weight and lack of diffuser i still highly recommend especially if you’ll be using this for blowouts before a silk press. Read more
