This is the perfect pillow! I have SI joint issues and this has saved my lower back. I’m not achy when I wake in the morning and my hips feel amazing. It’s light weight, firm, and curved to fit my thighs. It’s easy to keep between legs when switching sides. I can even lay with one leg straight when I need to stretch a bit. I was worried a bit that the size was going to be too small, I thought I’d need it for my entire leg and knee support, but I find this actually really comfortable. I’m also only 5’2”. I bought both Contour Legacy Leg & Knee Foam Support Pillow and Everlasting Comfort Memory Foam Knee Pillow for Side Sleepers. I’m 5’6, 130 with stick legs. I did not get the cooling version of the Contour Legacy so I can’t speak to that. What I found is the Contour you can ONLY use with the tip between your knees. It was uncomfortable if I tried to move it higher up between my thighs. I will say it helped with back and nerve pain, but when I rolled over, it was this bulky thing that was in the way. And then I had to find it later to put it back in place. For me, it was just a bit too big and awkward. So I’m sending it back. The Everlasting Comfort knee pillow comes with a strap. I never lost it at night, and it wasn’t “in the way” the way I felt the Contour was when I slept. It was very comfortable, I could place it by my knees, or mid thigh, or even elevate a tender arm. Bought this a few years ago and can't sleep without it! Very comfortable and most importantly doesn't make me hot. Really helps with my hip pain. To be honest, I really wasn't expecting this pillow to work. To my surprise it is better then advertised. I have bone on bone arthritis in both knees and always wake up with sore and tired knees. The first morning after using it my knees were fine, not hurting or tired at all. It is easy to use, is not bulky or too high to use yet firm, giving you all the support you need and is compact so it doesn't interfere with the sheets when shifting at night. The rating is for having to keep replacing the pillowcase. The pillow is really great and holds together well. Does a great great job. Even the pillowcase is good quality The problem lies in the cheap zippers they are using. The first broke after about a ywar of use. I saw you could buy another so dod that. A few months later, it broke again. It will get stuck and even when you gently try clear the fabric in the teeth then resume zipping, it breaks. You're left to order another for it to happen again. The website will sell 2pks so they seem to know it's an issue but not enough to fix it. $15 a cover each time to replace it. Seems that's where they're making more money off us. I'm fit, 71 yrs, 5'10" .... have had sensitive knees forever ... forget kneeling without knee pads. I'm also a side sleeper and in that position my knees lay on top of each other, and for me that creates significant discomfort. I got in to using a pillow, which felt fine but was unmanageable when trying to turn or get out of bed. I found the Contour Legacy and decided to try it. Wow, game changer. I reviewed dimensions, but it still seemed a bit smaller than i expected, but that turned out to be a good thing. The pillow is contoured (hence the name) for your knees or thighs to comfortable nestle in. Its easy to place and comfortably turns with me when changing sleep positions. Just a great little device. I haven't had it long enough to know about cleaning, and i think they make cases for it (?). I highly recommend. Read more
