** update ** I have had this since January and it has finally given out. From March to July, I had it on (heat only) every other hour while at work, then would re-charge it. I bought this pre shoulder replacement surgery and it worked well to distract the pain and discomfort I had whike working. Post surgery, started wearing it again. Today, 9 months later, it only lasted 5 min on heat and massage, vs the 20min, vs the 1hr it used to hold. Overall, a great idea, just needs some modifications like maybe a power adapter to use when stationary, a better rechargeable battery, and definitely better velcro. ** original review ** It works good for me, as I bought this for multiple torn shoulder muscles while I wait to get my replacement surgery. It fits nicely, just have to adjust it each time I put it on. Once I get it on, its great! The heat and massage work perfectly!!! Love the different levels of each and the charge lasts around 90min and takes a couple hours to fully charge. The below issue I was able to remedy myself with extra strength Velcro glued on. I think once it has an improved adjusting system it'll be perfect! The problem I have is with the velcro. Once you get it fit tightly, it works. Its stretchy some and wide enough, and comfortable. However, the velcro is sub-par. I have been using this for over 2 months on a daily basis, putting it on and off multiple times a day so as to charge it between wearing it. Because of this, the velcro on the holding side has pretty much given out. It would be much better if they used an adjustable buckle system strap, so that once you adjust the buckle length, the strap clicks in and its set to the length you need it. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and I use it frequently as 2 tears in my shoulder heal. As others have mentioned, its a little difficult to get it on and adjusted properly. But once its on, the heat function works great and its not uncomfortable to wear in bed or while moving around. It gets HOT. Another heat level would be nice, but the max heat setting is probably as hot as it needs to get for safety reasons. Stays hot for about 2 hours on a charge, takes about an hour and 35 minutes for a full charge. The massage function isn't useless, but I don't use it. It feels like a really strong smart phone vibration. It may be a benefit for some shoulder problems, but don't expect kneading or the power of a cheap massage gun. This was just horrible. I had rotator cuff surgery 2 years ago and still have pain so I purchased this to try and help. First the fit is awkward. It is loose around the shoulder with no way to tighten it. Second the heat was non existent! Had it on for over a hour and it barely got warm. The vibrating is only on the very top of the shoulder and because of the weird fit it is useless. I definitely would not recommend this. I have returned it. Read more
