For me, this Ink It eyeliner is replacing the Liquilineblast eyeliner, also by CoverGirl. I liked the Liquilineblast, but it easily rubbed off, and wore off by the end of the day. The Ink It stays on all day, so I don't have to put it back on for an evening activity. The Ink It doesn't smear off. I should probably get make-up remover pads some day, but for now I rub this off with a wet washcloth. I read a review where the person said this broke off, but she must have been pushing down really hard. This has never broken for me. The point is always "sharp" because it is narrow, and you twist the top and it raises up a little more each time. This lasts two to three times as long as the Liquilineblast eyeliner. I only use one of these each month, and I always wear eyeliner. I used to go through several (2 to 3) of the Liquilineblast ones. I really like the dark color on the upper lid line, but also the ability of the pencil to be applied more lightly on the lower lid, depending on how hard I push. It doesn't smear. It's just great. I only use this eyeliner! I will say it had its pros and cons but by far it’s the easiest to go on smooth and dark. I love how bold it is and not a light colored line. The drawback is that it doesn’t last long with daily use. It will smudge but stays on relatively well all day. Will not stay on in the water! I really love this eyeliner!! At first it didn't seem all that black, but it definitely got darker as I got further into it which I was very happy about! But what I love so much about this eyeliner is that it says freakin put!! I've used the regular Point Perfect eyeliner for years but I always ended up with black underneath my eyes rather quickly. The internet said gel eyeliners don't run as much so buying this one only made sense. And guess what?!? It actually worked!!! I don't end up with black under my eyes... not ever! Like not even when I accidentally fell asleep with my make up on... My eyeliner was still perfectly in place when I woke up the next morning! I love this eyeliner! It goes on easily and is so dark that you only need one coat. It stays on super well also. I went out in the rain once and was just soaking it in letting fall directly on my face, which was soaked by the end. When I looked in the mirror my mascara was completely gone, but my eyeliner literally looked exactly the same! I rarely have black in the corner of my eyes on my bottom lid like I do with other liners. I bought a different brand just to try something new, and I cannot wait to use it up so I can go back to this one. It doesn't go on as dark or stay nearly as well. Read more

If i had paid more than $5 I'd be upset. For the simple fact that I am wasting product. You click up to bring up the liner...but then it doesnt go back down in any way. Every time i close the lid would smush the liner! And heaven forbid you accidentally click it up twice. It goes on fine. Great pigmentation. I found no smudging but I also wore it on top of eyeshadow. It went on over my eye shadow just fine. But i don't care about any of that if i'm wasting product. I don't know about anyone else but even when i wasn't a stay at home mom, wasting money isn't my favorite thing. I'll use up the rest of it, i doubt it'll last much longer..it is quite small. I use this eyeliner in black ink just about every day. It's the closest thing I've found to smudgeproof and waterproof for my oily skin. I've had it on for full days & during intense workouts and it stays exactly where it's supposed to. I've had 3 women ask me what eyeliner I use because they can't believe it's not running after a high intensity workout where we are all dripping sweat (the times I haven't had a chance to remove my makeup before going to workout). You definitely need makeup remover to get all traces of the eyeliner off because face wash and water only gets some. The only complaint I have with this product is that it does tend to get dry after it's been opened for a while. If it's not used for a while I usually have to remove a piece of the tip because it won't apply smoothly and has little crumbles.
