A friend of mine sent me the website a version of this last December, the "helmet" kind, the hardshell variety. I thought it was for her, but she meant it for me. I'm active so my knees feel it at times, especially when I don't use them. I finally got around to ordering this soft version just to see if it helped. I went for the soft one so I could bend my leg, and walk in it if I had to. Well sometime in May after leaning forward in a chair replacing a brake caliper on my car, my knees were flexed forward under pressure for too long. That evening I could only bend my right knee about 10 degrees. It was swollen on the inside, if you know what I mean. I decided to try this knee thing to see if it would help. I only used it for ten minutes and after that short time my knee felt great ! I could bend it 30 degrees or so and walk normally, no pain. Now I use it after most exercise sessions like mt. biking as a matter of course to speed recovery. My sig. other is VERY active also uses it after biking. Some people have issues with the "massage" function. Don't think of it as hands massaging your knee. It's vibration which stimulates blood flow. "Where the blood goes, the chi flows. Where the chi goes the blood flows." This is said in Chinese Medicine. That's why you instinctively rub your leg or arm when you mash it into something. A bruise is stuck blood and stuck chi. You rub it to get things moving. And all this research with red and infrared and other light for healing is interesting. I got my sig. other a mask (Expensive !) with various colored lights for anti-aging. I see the results after only 3 months. There are also IR devices for regrowing hair . . . That's what I really should be looking for ! PS. I bought a similar device for my back, which is generally good but there are times . . . Read more

Product does work, but only for limited time. After using it it my knee feels good, but then it goes back to hurting as soon as I do any walking or physical activity. I use it twice a day and the battery lasts for about 5 to 6 charges before having to recharge. I use on level 3 on both settings Read more
The media could not be loaded. Update The seller contacted me and offered the refund. Would like to add stars for that and admit great customer service! I bought this for my mom who has issues with her knee and shoulder, so I was looking for the one with extenion belt. Item looks nice and sturdy, all works correctly, easy to adjust all treatment levels. I didn't measure the exact time of one session, but it seems like it is approx 20 min. The only thing to be aware is that extension for shoulder made with defect: the velcro hooks are sewn on the wrong side and do not fasten through the metal fastener, you can see that on video. I am not sure if i got lucky with defective one or maybe they all made this way, but this a slight disappointment since I need to spend time and money now to find and buy extension separately. In addition, some of the seams on the item are made clumsily, but this does not affect functionality. I am going to keep it because I like overall functionality and comfort of using for the knee. This could be a great product if the manufacturer had paid more attention to the details. Read more
I gave thus a five because it worked really well with the pain and swelling if my knee and it was comfortable and it's battery lasts along time. A little noisy but well worth it. I had a knee replacement 2 years ago and still had pain a d stiffness and couldn't get alot of relief from the swelling and pain. I still can't bend it all the way but it is so much better since I started using this. Definitely would recommend it if you want to get swelling and pain down. Read more
Appears to be a decent device, BUT: The User Manual says the therapy time is 20 minutes after which the Auto Timer shuts off the device. The actual time is only 14 minutes. Perhaps I received a defective product? I e-mailed Customer Service in China. Received a prompt reply and was told they would send me a no-charge replacement. Well, the brand new replacement has the same 14-minute Auto Shutoff issue. Otherwise, I enjoy the 6 levels of red light therapy heat and the 3 levels of “massage” (vibration.) Lightweight and easy to fit with Velcro straps. Well-written instructions. Does it help my arthritic knee? Time will tell. UPDATE: NOT recommended as the battery runs out after only about four 14-minute uses. You will spend all your time charging the unit. Would be a great product with a proper timer and battery.
