These filters have worked well for my GSS25 GE fridge. The installation is super easy, no issues with leaks and they’re a fraction of the cost compared to the manufacturer’s filters. I can’t speak to their compatibility with other GE fridges though, but they seem to work great with the GSS25. This is my second time purchasing. Read more

I ordered this water filter for my GE fridge based on the info and model of the fridge and the filter specs and bought 3 filters. The filter is not working on my GE freezer and gives me Error message and doesn’t make ice. I called technician and he showed me that filter is not a right one for my fridge. My GE fridge requires XWFE filters. The only difference is the XWFE costs $50 dollars each and these are three for $25. The XWFE has an RFID chip under the label. I used a blow dryer, peeled off the label and stuck the label with the RFID chip on the sensor inside the fridge. Presto! Permanent fix. Now I can use the XWF filter inside my fridge, no problem. I drink a lot of water and go through filters quickly. Things are obviously expensive, so I was dreading dropping the money for a new GE water filter.
