What a neat little gadget! I don't have a stove that a regular Moka pot would work with, so I was looking for an alternate solution. This thing jumped right out at me! The pot comes apart as you would expect, with an inside line to show you how much water to fill. The middle piece (for the coffee grounds) came with 2 different screens, depending on how strong/weak you want your brew. The top piece screws on easily. Once everything is put together, you just have to place the entire pot onto the heating base and flip the toggle button. There is a silicone thingy that directs the coffee into the chamber, so it does not splash against the lid. I am not sure how long it takes to brew because while it is brewing, I heat my milk and get the coffee cups ready. My guess is no more than 5 minutes. I must say that this is one of the best little appliances I have bought it a while. It's easy to set up, easy to use and easy to clean. What more could you want? Read more

Works beautifully with cuban espresso ground, which is, frankly, the point of a cuban espresso maker. For reasons unknown, the manufacturer suggests using coarser grounds, which defeats the purpose. If this had not worked out, I would have returned the coffee maker and left a scathing review on the audacity of marketing a product which cannot fulfill its basic function. Fortunately, I have been spared that unpleasantry. I will update this review if anything changes with its functionality. Otherwise, highly recommended. Read more
