I bought one of these going on two years ago now, and it is still going strong! It's been one of the best purchases I have made, and cuts down on the stress of preparing work lunches. I plug it in at 8:00, and it's hot and ready at lunch, even from frozen. I think it takes 2-2.5 hours to warm up the food. I have put small frozen meals in this, as well as things like homemade things right from the fridge. It gets very hot, so it is worth unplugging and at taking the top off 15 to 30 minutes before you are ready to eat. I generally put a bit of water in it with the food before turning it on to keep things from burning to the bottom, but this does seem to create a bit of a suction effect, and the top can become very difficult to unscrew. But apart from that quirk, it is a fantastic little lunchbox and I would purchase it again in a heartbeat. Read more
